Hillary is Big into "Nuclear" Options only this one could be real.

Maybe this isn't the way you are supposed to write Kos diaries but it's late, I've spent hours working e-mails and posting helping move information that will be helpful in NC and IA, and I see no point in repeating the following diary just to be Kos PC. This "nuclear option" involves maniuplating the DNCC Rules Committee to seat FL and MI. I've heard about it before and it is a real threat because she apparently has a majority on the Committee.
Please read this diary then come back and answer my questions? If Hillary tries to steal the nomination through a backroom deal, what is our grass roots response? And shouldn't we be considering this? I am absolutely certain that OFA has plans but what will we do? Doesn't sound like just wringing our hands and writing blog diary's and comments will get us very far.
Poll Tax, Voter ID, and the Supremes

I know it will be difficult but I would like to take your focus off Reverend Wright for a few minutes. Despite what you hear on the corporate media and even, it would seem, in the blogs, there are more important things going on. If you haven’t noticed, by putting its stamp of approval on Indiana’s voter ID law, the US Supreme Court just reinstituted the poll tax. It isn’t called that but it has the exact same effect.

This is the second round in a three part process that concludes at the WA Democratic Convention on June 13-15 in Spokane WA.
Racism and the Race
Tue Apr 15, 2008 at 12:00:23 AM PDT
Some comments suggested that my previous post may have been a form of racism or reverse racism. If stated in the form of a question it would be a good one.
My intention was a warning and nothing else.
Sure, painting democrats as elitists is standard Republican BS. The famous pictures of John Kerry windsurfing while he was being Swift Boated and wouldn't bother to respond probably cost him the election. I voted for him but I always thought he was an elitist. So sometimes a cigar really is a cigar but sometimes not. (Bill Clinton might have something to say about that.)
Arrogance and Elitism =Uppity where I came from.
Mon Apr 14, 2008 at 05:15:33 PM PDT
Oh now I get it.
Arrogance and elitists are fashionable code words. Growing up in the segregated South the word they used was Uppity which was usually followed by the N....word and applied to any black man who had the temerity to speak from authority. MLK, for instance, was uppity. MLK spoke truth with authority and power. Truth, power, and authority are dangerous notions especially in the head of an uppity black man.
