Clammyc's exciting announcement regarding his pursuit of the office of President of the United States has me and a number of other prominent blowhards very excited. Of course, a candidate needs a VP, and while many others may be more well-qualified then I, I challenge anyone to find someone less well-qualified.

This was originally a comment, but by the time I finished saying everything I felt needed saying (and by the time I'd reiterated it incessantly to make sure I was understood, as I neurotically tend to do), I realized I'd written a diary.

There's a lot of anger out there and frustration over Obama's apparent leap to the center. I've thought about writing about FISA, but the fact is what can be said has been. By the time I got up the confidence to write something, the lines were drawn and that was that.

A short diary, and my first. There's been some hoopla about an Obama staffer denying a pair of young muslim girls a seat directly behind Obama, in camera range, at a rally. There is a fairly good chance that this tempest remains in its teapot, but I'd like my fellow kossaks well-armed if it doesn't.
