McCain Flips on His Own Strategy in Iraq
Tue Apr 29, 2008 at 08:13:22 AM PDT
Reported on the Huffington Post, quotes from McCain in 2005 speaking of how dangerous it would be to set up shop in Iraq. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/...
How could we possibly lose to this guy? Come on. Really. He can't keep ANYTHING "straight". I suppose if the DNC came out with an ad with these quotes in it, the Repugs would cry liars the same way they are over the econ ads and the 100 year ads. Seriously, it's not our fault their nominee can't remember what side of an issue he is on on any given day.
Quote over the jump.
Hillary's One Foreign Policy Faux Pas - or Seven
Mon Apr 28, 2008 at 09:31:29 AM PDT
This morning I learned the details (thanks to TocqueDeville http://www.dailykos.com/... ) surrounding Obama's Nafta gaffe...oh, but wait, that was Hillary's Nafta gaffe. How did I not know that? How does the world not know that? You mean to tell me it was Hillary's camp that reassured the Canadian government that her comments were simply campaign rhetoric and should not concern them? You mean to tell me the the story was intentionally flipped on Obama and Hillary used it as fodder for her "outrage" with his "just words" campaign? (If you have not read this diary yet, you really really should!)
Couple that with her suggestion that we could "obliterate" Iran (and please ignore the fact that she accused Obama of poor foreign policy and warmongering when he suggested that if Pakistan didn't act, that he would - turning that into "Obama said he'd bomb Pakistan" during a debate).
Let's add five more reported by Newsweek (over the jump)...
