I've been watching MSNBC for news more than CNN these days because of our most excellent progressive allies like Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow. However, this morning I've been forced to watch the Wolfman on CNN since he's the only news I can find.

Twice now immediately preceding clips of McCain speeches, CNN quickly flashed a presidential seal and American flag graphics. To me, it gave the subtle appearance of "here is our next president". I thought it was weird at the time, but figured well, maybe they do that for all the presidential candidates. Well, maybe not....
