Once in a blue moon I like to post a diary if I think (I did check) a relevant article has not been posted. It appear the Democratic Senators are all on board to derail the military spending bill over the language in it allowing for drilling in Alaska. Even Joe Lieberman is on board, and any time the repugs don't have Lieberman on their side to support a military spending bill, you know they got an uphill battle.

I still think Joe is still not worth the amount of saliva necessary to spit on him, but you have to like this move.

Is he going to try to follow the Romney strategy of trying to take public positions agains abortion rights and stem cell research, without actually doing anything about it? Or is he just going to find another way to milk 9/11 until that sacred cow is completely dehydrated.

I can say this, if anybody can lower the bar further then Shrub as president, Patakis is one of those guys with the right stuff.
