We lost, end of story.  And in a way, how could we win? We had no chance; we had no glorious opportunity to change anything.  All we really had was a choice of the lesser of two evils. And by "we" I mean "we the people" not just Democrats or Republicans, but ALL Americans.  Now don't get me wrong, I supported Kerry, I voted for Kerry, and I would've given anything to beat Bush.  But what would WE THE PEOPLE have received? Nothing but another weatlhy, well-to-do bureucrat from the traditional ruling class.  You want a revolution?
