John Edwards in Atlanta w/pics

I'm not a good writer nor am I even a good speaker. What I do know is what's in my heart and a little bit more about computers and a little something about politics. I was at the rally for John Edwards today at the IBEW union hall (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers). The steelworkers were there, Mark Taylor was there and former Georgia governor Roy Barnes.

The war diary, your diary

Mon Jan 14, 2008 at 05:44:58 AM PDT

I know with all of the candidate diaries and mud slinging going around this may not be as exciting of a topic. But I believe this is very important to all of us and is one of the driving factors of the Democratic party's current success with their message. The ongoing discussion to end the war.

Fighting them "there" and why that is a flawed argument.

I don't write too many diaries but I felt the need to start one on the consistent argument by the Bush Admin about Iraq.

And that argument is;

"We are fighting them there so that we don't have to fight them here."

While this may be a nice bumper sticker argument for the Republican loonies out there, it just simply doesn't make sense.

FTCR: Internal Memos Show Oil Companies Intentionally Limited Refining Capacity

Thu Oct 13, 2005 at 05:45:06 AM PDT

I don't usually write diaries and I'm at work at the moment wasting my time at DKos :-).

Here is a link that I found quite frightening and would like to know if anyone has heard anything about this?  Why is this not all over the MSM?
