My parish priest died election night

First I want you to know my liberalism and the liberal ideals of many I grew up with come directly from the Catholic church.  

My Dad worked for and met Ceaser Chavez and helped migrant workers, met Dennis Banks & Russell Means and worked to advance AIM, was involved in the civil rights movement, met Andrew Greely and currenty at age 76 builds houses for Habitat for Humnity,  etc. etc. etc.  all through the Catholic Church.

He helped students in his high school catechism class escape to Canada during the Vietnam war...

Nearly 3,800 voters cast their ballots Friday at the Tulsa County Election Board.

Usually about 2,000 participate daily during a normal in-person absentee voting period, Election Board Assistant Secretary Shelly Boggs said.
