Tue May 13, 2008 at 06:02:23 PM PDT
Ahahahahaha
Sorry about the Elmer Fudd intwo, but I had to do something.
I am just BREAKING in to remind Daily Kos posters that many of you are taking everything way to seriously, and so I will pimp videos below, whether you like it or not.
Note: Telling me you don't like it, or asking me to stop will probably not do much.
BREAKING!!! -I'm Happy.
Tue May 06, 2008 at 07:35:22 PM PDT
This is a good night for being a good night. I canvassed in Fort Wayne today, and hung out with the Black Community. They were fired up, and fun, and I forgive those who made fun of my hair. My hero for the day is a woman who sat on her porch and said, "don't be askin' ME if I got out to vote! I'm 78 years old!" She made it clear that wild horses wouldn't have stopped her, and called me "dearie," and "sweety" enough to make me blush, or maybe that was the sunburn.
So I thank all the good people of this town; a town I have often been less than enthusiastic about. Tonight, after living here seven years, I may have finally decided to accept my Hoosier/Ft Wayne status, and stop being the displaced Minneapolitan that I have grumbly worn for this time, and may forgive my wife for drawing me here with her evil siren song.
Indiana Women for Obama
Mon May 05, 2008 at 10:19:11 AM PDT
Yes, it's true. I was on the elevator, coming back from lunch. I work in downtown Fort Wayne. (not really much of a downtown at all, but that's what they call it.)
On the elevator was a 61 year old White Lady, with a button on her blouse that said "Women for Obama" in nice, cursive writing. She had never canvassed, or even given much of a shit before about any election, but this year, she's excited about Obama, and do you know what's great?
She is the face of Indiana.
Do Not Read This Diary
Tue Apr 29, 2008 at 06:06:56 AM PDT
It's only a blatant, shameless, self-promotion by a lifelong Democrat who has dedicated everything in his body, soul, and bank account to The Party, and the Party Faithful, and Partying.
This is not the diary you want.
Well, unless you want to hear a forty-something year-old man doing an acoustic cover of a Bowie classic, and then, in that case, it IS the diary you want!
And OH BOY is it more fun than another diary about whether or not this race will be over soon, or if race is a factor in this race, or if it's a race to race to race, as an issue, factor, variable or tangent.
Hillary Commits Media-Assisted Suicide
Thu Apr 17, 2008 at 06:51:40 AM PDT
I haven't written anything serious for awhile now. I prefer to keep it light.
Well, not today, baby! (sorry, no funny poll for this one)
Newest Debate between Hillary and Obama
Mon Apr 14, 2008 at 11:55:35 AM PDT
You knew it was coming. This is the current debate, and it's a doozy.
What season is it?
Answer below the fold.
Sunday Night at the (cat and dog) Fights
Sun Mar 30, 2008 at 04:50:14 PM PDT
Sometimes we take things for granted. Fiero is a little orange kitty, about nine months old, who has always taken his safety for granted. Many times he has followed me into the dog pen, where I keep a German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix named Gunnar, a German Shepherd/Wolf mix named Santana, and a big-ass French Mastiff who looks a lot like Hootch. His name is Caine. Usually, I lightly toss him out the door, and tell him "no."
The adventure begins below:
My Concern
Mon Mar 17, 2008 at 01:11:42 PM PDT
I have read a lot of bad things about bad things today, and frankly, I'm concerned.
So if you'll read down below, I will go into great detail about the problem we now face.
It's quite serious, so please put your serious face on, and read this seriously.
I know a lot of you think I only post here to be funny, but this is on my mind, and it's really bothering me, so let me know what you think down below, OK?
Ready?
I Singlehandedly Solve the Writer's Strike
Sat Mar 15, 2008 at 03:56:14 PM PDT
Sometimes I write some pretty good diaries. This isn't one of those times.
I have come up with the ultimate diary, and the ultimate way to make peace with the peaceful, and war with the warlike.
This is just my way to share some music with the Kosophonic Symphony Orchestra, recorded in Democratic Stereo, with full Clintonian Obamamania.
A sentence is a paragraph, if you make it long enough.

Winning This Campaign
Fri Mar 14, 2008 at 09:04:53 AM PDT
You love my diaries. You tell me you do, with all your loving tips, and snarky comments, and participation in my polls. I try to be funny, and to take away some of the ANGST on this site, and I try to hold your little hands, and make you all better.
Well, today, I am going to be more practical.
I just walked by a TV that had Bush's horrible face on it, with a caption that said something like "Bush's New Economic Stimulus Package to (do something miraculous, or something)"
Yeah, right.
Want to hear how we can win this year?
Read on, gentle toad:
Yeah, I'm Black
Wed Mar 12, 2008 at 09:26:46 AM PDT
Yeah, I'm Black. And your foreign policy experience sucks.
Yeah, I'm Black. And meanwhile, you're running a fear-based campaign.
Yeah, I'm Black. And you're a woman. And my uncle would be my aunt if it wasn't for his penis.
Yeah, I'm Black. And I've run a better campaign than you, and that's why so many people are supporting me.
Yeah, I'm Black. And surprisingly, that hasn't been all that much of an advantage in my life, considering that I have pretty much earned everything I've acheived.
Answering the Red Phone
Wed Mar 05, 2008 at 10:18:51 AM PDT
I've had it with all this talk about answering red phones, and if someone has the experience necessary to answer red phones. I mean, this goes beyond the fearmongering, the negativity, and the sheer, unadultered stupidity of the concept.
If you want to read my rant, you're going to have to go below the fold.
Take the chance. You obviously have too much time on your hands anyway.
Obama Wins Texas and Ohio - GENERAL ELECTION!!!
Mon Mar 03, 2008 at 10:08:56 AM PDT
Based on NOTHING at all, but my own audacity of hope, I am predicting a HUGE win in TX, a squeaker in OH and a GE win that has not been seen since, well, ever.
And just to back that up, I've done some polling of my own.
The Gift of Prognostication
Wed Feb 27, 2008 at 01:27:47 PM PDT
I love how politics brings out the Gift of Prognostication in us all.
"Hillary will take it to the convention no matter what happens."
"Edwards will wait until the Prime rate drops another .04% before he endorses anyone."
"My dog will eat something yucky if I buy a yellow blazer..."
If I Ran the Obama Campaign
Sat Feb 23, 2008 at 08:31:16 PM PDT
Let me just remind everybody here that not only have I never ran a successful political campaign, I also have a tendency to eat the chocolate before I run out of milk, just to be safe.
More above the fold.
Um, below the fold.
I hope you're ready for this.
Polling You May Not Have Considered-Demographics
Fri Feb 22, 2008 at 11:09:20 AM PDT
I've seen so many redundant, repetitive, repeated diaries on this website lately, that it's made me wonder why I've seen so many redundant, repetitive, repeated diaries on this website lately, that it's made me wonder why I've seen so many redundant, repetitive, repeated diaries on this website lately, so I've decided to pick up the pen, and do some real writing, and get this thing back on track.
I apologize to all of you who take yourselves seriously, but frankly, I think you have overestimated your worth, and should probably stop it.
So here is all the analysis you have not seen so far.
BAD Diary, It's Not Worthy
Wed Feb 20, 2008 at 06:38:13 PM PDT
Here's what I said to a Right Winger on another site. It's not good enough for Daily Kos, but I put it here for you to delete, because I'm grouchy and vain, and old, and pissed off, and I thought it was both funny and true.
That's ONE paragraph.
Meat below the fold.
Or Meet below the fold
Your choice.
Sorry...
Thu Jan 31, 2008 at 05:54:26 AM PDT
Sorry for the waste of bandwidth. You can delete me if you like, but I like to ocassionally share with the Kos Brothers and Sisters some of my music, so here:
