Barack, Michelle and the girls arrived here in Honolulu today.  Here are some photos from the event at Ke'ehi Lagoon Beach Park. 4,000 happy people turned out to see our next President and native son. Quotes are from the Honolulu Advertiser article here.

U.S. Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois and his wife, Michelle, will appear tomorrow afternoon at a public event at Ke'ehi Lagoon Beach Park to mark his return to the Islands.

Gates will open for the free event at 12:30 p.m.

It should be interesting to see what kind of crowd he attracts here on home turf.
