Personal Experience with Roberts

I am sure I am breaking the official diary rules by not linking to something, but I thought this was important and needed to be shared with the Kos community.

In my work I have huge amounts of interaction with DC lawyers.  One of my most-used outside counsel attorneys knows Roberts well; he is at the same firm (Hogan Hartson) where Roberts was an associate and then a partner for 10 years.  My associate is a true-blue Democrat and this is what he had to say about Roberts:

McAuliffe Staying? Please Say No!

I just saw this on Yahoo Politics.  Senior Dems (?) trying to keep McAuliffe as head of DNC? Please, please, please tell me this isn't happening!  Link below.

Extremely simple plan to win in 2008

Please tell me what I'm missing here:
We get two very popular Democratic governors (NOT Senators) from two 2004 red states (example, Virginia and Arizona).  They run as Pres/Veep.  Every other state that was red stays red, every other state that was blue stays blue, these two states flip red-to-blue, game over.  And don't hit me with "Edwards-couldn't-even-carry-NC" line.  Big difference between Governors and Senators.
