Since well before the stolen election of 00, I have asked repeatedly why people ( the press in particular) refused to take a close look at GWB.  Like others, I didn't know a lot about him, other than he was GHWB's first failure at parenthood.
Sure, I was pretty much aware that,but for nepotism this guy would be just another loser. But what struck me most about him and his promotion as some sort of moral christian was laughable.
As a strong advocate against the death penalty, I had watched with amazement at the speed and wreckless way he was executing people in Texas...

This, just in on Reuters....hard to say whether it's factual or a diversion.

Lest progressives get caught up in what is sure to be, an ongoing "Katrina" all the time, infotainment cycle for the next several weeks or months, we should be using this time to craft a message for the 06 elections that's based on the failures of the " conservative " movement, and how it has hurt this country in every aspect.
The list of those failures is extensive and has touched every American in one way or another. This election should become an indictment of conservative politics and those who practice it.

I remember during the Clinton " wars " the Secret Service was a major player in the keeping of records of who came and went at the WH.
So far, I haven't seen anything that mention them or their take on this affair.

Wouldn't they have concerns about the security breech ?????  Seems this would fall into their realm of responsibility.

Seems to me , Rep Slaughter and others should be able to demand their records of exactly who authorized Gannon/Gluckert to have a pass in a phony name.
