Hillary wouldn't do that to us...

I think Hillary is right not to drop out of the race until she loses Ohio and/or Texas, but after that happens (and I'm putting my money on the line to make sure it does) the Clintons need to prove that they're not the Bushies and do what's right for the country, much less the party.
"The Fair Tax" Can Rescue Our Economy...
Mon Jan 07, 2008 at 11:25:37 PM PDT
And Democrats need to get out in front on the issue. Now, for the longest time I resisted the idea of the Fair Tax. I felt, and still feel to some degree, that those pushing the plan were simply rich white people trying to get out of paying taxes. I cannot stand Neal Boortz. I am a stalwart Democrat and an Oklabaman (Oklahoman for Obama). I couldn't quite see the benefit of this radical tax reform other than shifting the tax burden away from the wealthy. Then something strange happened: I took an economics course.
Spurlock's "30 Days": Important Television
Wed Jul 26, 2006 at 11:14:26 PM PDT
I've never been more moved by an hour of television than after watching the Morgan Spurlock creation "30 Days" tonight. This season-opening installment pitted a staunch minute-man named Frank against the Gonzales family, a family of illegal immigrants from Mexico living in Southern Los Angeles. What transpired highlighted and underlined what our current immigration debate is really about.
Racist Republicans to Scat on 14th Amendment
Wed Jul 12, 2006 at 10:39:51 AM PDT
Driving around in Oklahoma City, I'm constantly hearing radio advertisements from a Repugnant called Denise Bode (www.denisebode.com), and I heard something that instantly made my blood boil.
There is a passing notion among House Republicans (a seat in which Bode is campaigning), that there should be legislation passed that would in effect repeal birthright citizenship for the children of immigrant parents. This flies contradictory to the 14th Amendment of that pesky Constitution. People like Rep. Tom (hack!) Tamcredo R-CO, Rep. Jeff Flake R-AZ, and Rep. Dan Lungren R-CA might possibly be trying to drum up public support for such a radical change to the fabric of our nation.
