Crazy crazy world. Here our VP voted against the ERA, but wait a minute, it looks like his all star boy's club is opening up to the idea of women in combat. Smells like another back door draft of sorts, just after Christmas. I wonder if Cheney pulled the strings on this one?

The Army is negotiating with civilian leaders about eliminating a women-in-combat ban so it can place mixed-sex support companies within warfighting units, starting with a division going to Iraq in January.
