The Hispanic Vote

Here are my two cents about this issue. As a Hispanic my vision of the matter is a close enough one, and I will like response from other Hispanics and see if we can all get a good overview.
There are many factors to consider when you analyze the Hispanic vote.
The most important one would be, as many people noted, the difference in our origins. I would divide it in several groups:

OK, they whooped us.
My personal lecture is that it was due to the Democratic Party's lack of backbone. I've read other lectures; the main line of thought goes with what the pundits are saying: "values".
Now, I'm a European, only lived here for 3 years, and I may be reading this wrong but I believe that "values" are the hand the GOP is giving us and some are so stupid that they are pretending to play with it and win.
