I don't usually do diaries.  There are always numerous well written diaries on topics I’m interested in so I’m quite content to simply add my comments here and there.  But this is something I want to say and I see no appropriate diary for it.  I have honestly felt speechless about the airing of the Seung-Hui video.  There are just so many things wrong about this that it’s hard to describe why.  But here is part of it.

A new judge will be appointed to preside over the case against FORMER House GOP leader Tom DeLay.  Excuse me?   C.W. Bud Duncan, a semi-retired judge  ruled in Delay's favor without comment!   Was C. W. Bud in the process of  retiring due to mental illness, perhaps?  Or is it some type of ethical illness - similar to that which afflicts Mr. DeLay?   Laughably, DeLay's lawyers claim that this change is necessary so that "there will not be a public perception of partiality in the case."   Yes, that's correct Mr. Orwell.  We wouldn't want there to be any perception of partiality when we get our Republican Judge.   After all, no Republican official in the state of Texas could possibly OWE ANYTHING to the Hammer.
