HillaryIs404.com

Wish I came up with that headline myself, but I saw it in a discussion on Fark.com.

I am of the belief that all things in this world occur in waves. Hillary's campaign has had a couple of good sets, but the Hawaiian in the race was the natural one to ride the waves. A pattern is developing now, and it's very strongly against Clinton.

The crashing of the hillaryis44.com website is just the latest wave to break - it's probably more from Farkers and Diggers checking in on the silliness than from their own participants.

There was her pick in the Kentucky Derby, being euthanized after coming in second to Big Brown. Tragic yet prophetic.

Now, the media narrative has finally turned against her, at least from what I've seen tonight (mostly MSNBC). It's no longer "if" she'll drop out but "when."

Here's to hoping we're finally at the end of the Primary part of this craziness!

Siegelman story on Abram's show!

Thu Mar 27, 2008 at 06:15:51 PM PDT

Just finished watching Olbermann and the first thing on the screen was "Breaking News" about Siegelman's release!

Dan is going over the details of the case with his panel, which includes one of Siegelman's daughters.

I love the shots that have the long-haired lawyer in the background - makes this silly hippy happy...

Barack is jazz, Hillary is classical

Fri Feb 22, 2008 at 08:30:46 AM PDT

Late last night I was re-watching the debate because I only saw about 1/2 of it before I had to leave for rehearsal. It was reaching the lead-up to the Xerox line when something struck me about the moment that to me is the most important difference between the two candidates:

Barack Obama performs jazz, Hillary plays classical.

Politics and debate, like music, are performance art forms. The approach one takes in a live performance is highly reflective of the overall approach to their art.
