New head of the Rethuglican Party in Arkansas apeaks out.

Sun Jun 03, 2007 at 10:07:59 PM PDT

Heckuva job, Dennis Milligan, new chair of the Arkansas Republican Party, in his first big interview with the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette:

"At the end of the day, I believe fully the president is doing the right thing, and I think all we need is some attacks on American soil like we had on [Sept. 11, 2001 ], and the naysayers will come around very quickly to appreciate not only the commitment for President Bush, but the sacrifice that has been made by men and women to protect this country," Milligan said.

cable television

Tue Jul 11, 2006 at 09:02:28 PM PDT

Our city is currently listening to proposals from ATT to install the new tv system they are offering.  The cable compny, Comcast is having a fit, of course.  i can't help but think that we as consumers will benefit from competition.  has anyone has experience with the new systems offered by the telephone companies?  if so how are they working?   thanks  jerry

come back to the party

Mon Mar 13, 2006 at 07:59:49 PM PDT

It is time for dems to come back to their party.  I heard last nite on tv the comment,  meybe on west wing,  a slogan of  "come back to the party".  It has resonated on me ever since.  Many people left the party cause they thought they were republicans.  The things that have happened the last few years have changed a lot of minds.  Democrats don't want the government making decisions like Schaivo.  We don't want our country to torture people.  add to the list so we can tell decent americans why they don't want to be Republicans.  Give them reasons to come back to the party of the majority of decent people in this country.

cheneys heart

Sat Jul 23, 2005 at 09:29:36 PM PDT

i have the same conditions that cheney has with his heart.  i have a medtronic defibrillator implanted a month before he got his.  mine is my 4th and i know what happens.  we have not heard from him in a long time.
once i had mine fire 7 times in 90 minutes.  i was literally minutes from death.  i had no idea what was going on and stayed that day for a couple of weeks.
a man of cheneys age, i am 54 and the big problem happened when i was 44, younger than cheney was hit.  if you are not strong enough the shock from this machine will put to the ground.

i am saying this because these problems are too big for him to be silent unless there is a problem.  jerry

witch trials

Fri Apr 22, 2005 at 10:49:47 PM PDT

i am beginning to think that the problem with so-called christians taking over our government and churches is getting to the point of mass histeria.  when this happened a long time ago they hung 20 people and a cat for being witches.  the ravings of people wanting to take the funding away from or closing down courts who make rulings they disagree with is becoming dangerous.  any christian who complains about our policy of not executing people under 18 is probably not much of a christian anyway. senators and reps who rave about activist judges whip their followers into a state of excitment and then the activist preachers tell them that the judges are against their religion.  this crowd is so nuts that people are going to get hurt more than has already happened.  i don't understand how a group of christians can be or seem to be such violent thinking people.

liberal media

Mon Apr 18, 2005 at 08:50:42 PM PDT

today on air america al was talking to his friend who was  a limbaugh fan.  bobby kennedy called and really hit him on what was the so-called liberal media.

it has gotten to the point that we need to hit people who use that term.  there are very few professed liberals in the media.  a few collumnists but very few in the tv area who profess to be liberal and most go so far to the right trying not to be liberal.

we need to hit this point more.  jerry

how to talk to a wingnut

Mon Apr 18, 2005 at 08:24:36 PM PDT

if an obvious right wing nut plays the religion card.  ask him how he practices his religion.  only going to church does not constitute religion.  giving time to the poor,  helping adults read, ect. if you do these things  you can be considered a religious person.

voting republican and railing at judges is not religious.  blindly following dobson or falwell or  is not religious.

passing health care to take care of the people as they grow up is very religious.

discriminating against gay persons is not religious.

railing at a judge cause he voted against executing 17 yr. old kids is definetly not religious.
talking of harming judges who vote against things you like is not christian.

claiming the united states is a christian country is not religious, although allowing someone to practice buddism is religious.

ray wyley hubbard said"jesus  would have made a good buddist but buddha would not have made a good christian"

repugs and churches

Sat Apr 16, 2005 at 09:02:02 PM PDT

Actually i think the repugs are the ones telling the churches what to get hot about, lets say abstinence.  They find a subject that will turn on the deluded christains, then tell them that is what they should preach the next sunday. The people get excited and then think they must teach this in schools.  They make the teens sign forms saying they won't do that.

This gets the young people excited about a subject.    the result of this is a lot of oral and anal sex.  frustration is increased in the kids and alcohol and drug use increases more than the public as a norm.

time to get nasty

Fri Apr 15, 2005 at 09:49:41 PM PDT

if frist starts the open religious war it will be time to get really nasty.  gannon was just a start.  follow every prominent repubnican 24 hrs.  you can find funny financal situations everywhere.  get detectives to dig up everything in the past and use it no matter how nasty.  the charges do not matter because all we need to do is put charges out and get enough people to repeat it.  somehow a lot of people believe what they see in print or on tv no matter how stupid.  it doesn't matter photoshop delay having sex with dogs.  hell he may have and there are pictures out there.  write a quick book on the travels of delay.  put great sex scenes after each golf round. at least he can feel good that someone things he is capable of that.  maybe orgies in the teepees of the tribes abramoff sets him up with.

i am pumped

Sun Nov 21, 2004 at 12:31:51 AM PDT

the late elections have been  good for the country.  i have never seen people act the way they do in the numbers there are.  the sinclair tv problem with the special during the election.  even conservative tyson foods agreeded to drop ads with sinclair.  this shows the things that can be done now.  today there was a sneaky problem with a bill in congress and a large number of people have found out about it before it appeared in print.  the internet has become a tool that people could have never imagined before.  we have to keep organizing and working to do what needs to be done.  even this administration cannot stand up to the public in mass.  we have the right side of this argument.  the right is based on money and narrow moral values.  the left has the good of the people in mind.  eventually it will win.  evidentely we did not go far enough to the right before the bouncing back will occur.  keep working and this too will pass.  jerry
