This Iraq Occupation is wrong. I agree wholeheartedly with that. But the finger pointing crosses both ways. The hypocrisy raised is across the board. Any way one chooses to look at war, government, officials, players, or soldiers, women always lose and men still get the green light and a free pass on consequences.

Hope Steffey's night started with a call to police for help. It ended with her face down, naked, and sobbing on a jail cell floor. Now, the sheriff's deputies from Stark County, Ohio who allegedly used excessive force during a strip search 15 months ago face a federal lawsuit, and recently released video won’t help their case.

I am an equal supporter of both Hillary and Barack so I am a happy camper.

But now that race and gender are part of the political discourse, I don't want to offend anyone.

I hope this isn't a stupid question, as I've noticed the MSM uses African-American mostly and it comes across a bit negative to me and I would like to know from those who really know what is the preference?

But that being said, I heartily congratulate Obama's win. He does represent the least of us which is the most (majority) of us.

I  believe it is time for the empowerment of those of us who have been oppressed, suppressed and bullied our WHOLE lives.

There have been so many Hit and Run mean-spirited hateful diaries here on dkos of late. I believe many are coming from some anarchist/socialists people who have become very disillusioned with Democrats and of course the Republicans.

I'm surprised that Edwards message is not being heard or being pushed aside and drowned out, but now I know why. I figured it was the timing and the messenger. I like his message but I don't care for the messenger.

GM to make biofuel out of garbage

General Motors Corp. is planning on making biofuel with garbage at a cost of less than a dollar a gallon, the company's chief has said.

The US automaker has entered into a partnership with Illinois-based Coskata Inc. which has developed a way to make ethanol from practically any renewable source, including old tires and plant waste.

I've never thought about this word much until it started coming up in Edwards and Huckabees campaigns.

We have been watching the media for years and seeing sex and race used as a bully pulpit by rich white men so that they can preach their purity family values and false christian views.

So it is no wonder now that the media is and will have a field day at pitting Hillary and Obama against each other.

And the main reason in my view?

The oppression of women has been given a good day. I hope many will relish the moment as it may be short lived according to some of the diaries up this morning.

It is also a good day for all oppressed people. We made our voices heard and I hope Clinton and Obama voters keep it up!

The real status quo took a beating yesterday in NH. That is progress on many levels.

I know all about Hope. Heck I even have a Signs Of Hope gift shop web site. (Don't Order anything cause the shopping cart is broke and I just want to make a point.)

I believe in hope as I am more optimistic than fatalistic. I've been hoping most of my life for one thing or another to change or get better.

I can't tell you how many times a sweet talking man seduced me by hope for love, always thinking, "This guy is the one."

Dreamers make good lovers but aren't so great at producing real results.
