The following is a blog entry I made in my personal blog on March 3, 2004.  I bold emphasis below was added for this Daily Kos diary.

I post it again because I am increasingly fearful that if Hillary wins the nomination, she will quickly dispatch of Dean as the DNC chair.  That greatly concerns me.  I believe in his 50 State Strategy and believe that Barack's success is a direct result of Dean's party building efforts.  

Let me start with a few disclosures:

(1) I am an Obama supporter and have been volunteering for him.

(2) In 1992 and 1996 I was a Bill Clinton supporter and volunteer.

(3) In 2000 I supported and volunteered for Al Gore.

(4) In 2004 I supported and volunteered Howard Dean.  His loss still hurts.

Now, on to the point of this diary...

Hillary just invited Obama -- through the press -- to share her stage in Maine.  Here is the link.

The following letter was written to my father, a semi-retired blogger and Daily Kos reader, at approximately 2 a.m. Saturday morning.  Earlier Friday night, I had come across a recent Internet phenomenon (the "Yes We Can" song) and at 2 a.m. was still having difficulty sleeping.
