Easter is tomorrow. It's the day we celebrate rebirth, whether bunnies or gods resonate in your heart. Holy week is the time when, symbolically, we acknowledge first death, then the continuation of life and hope.
So it's a particularly meaningful week to examine issues of life and death. And it's a particularly powerful image to summon, if you're Tom Delay and you want to weigh in on the case of Terri Schiavo.
