Dear Hillary;
Sat Nov 03, 2007 at 05:02:45 PM PDT
Yesterday I gave what money I could afford to John Edwards' campaign. I did this because I became convinced Al Gore is not going to enter the race and I think John Edwards is the candidate who best understands what it's like to be me. And I dearly want someone in the White House who understands what it's like to be me. However, I fear you're going to be the next President of the United States, so I'm writing this to you. I'm writing it here on Dailykos, because I know what will happen if I send it to you directly. I'll get a form email thanking me for my support. Or a pre-taped phone message on my voicemail reminding me to vote. Or an email from Bill inviting me to wish you a happy birthday.
Like I care about your birthday.
So I'm writing it on Dailykos, where I know it will soon disappear into obscurity, but maybe, just maybe, before it does, someone who has your ear will read it. Maybe, just maybe, it will make you stop and think.
freep this poll

For what it's worth. It's Fox. I was lurking at Redstate and saw it posted. The question: Is it a good thing that Social Security Reform was not acted on?
http://www.foxnews.com/...
Currently, of course. the results are strongly skewed in the negative direction...
Of course, someone at redstate wrote a comment suggesting that in general online polls lull us liberal dems into a false sense of security and it's therefore good when they're skewed toward the liberal point of view. Not sure what to think about that, but it would be fun to reverse the Fox poll.
Fire Michael Brown as FEMA head, Rep. Wexler urges President Bush
Sun Sep 04, 2005 at 08:33:25 AM PDT
I'm an avid reader of dailykos, although I almost never post diaries, because everyone gets to stuff so fast I fear duplicating someone. If this is a dulicate, tell me and I'll delete. I've been following for days and haven't seen this posted.
It seems Rep. Robert Wexler urged Bush to fire Brown in January, 2005 due to inappropriate distribution of funds in Florida following Hurricane Frances:

A friend send me this. I hope I'm not replicating something already posted:

What Really Happened website

Does anybody know anything about the website: whatreallyhappened.com?
I have checked in with it occasionally, because they alway post the articles about what's happening in the voting irregularities. There is a Colin Powell quote at the top: "It's not anti-semitic to question the policies of Israel," and I essentially agree with that, so it has never bothered me even though I am Jewish. I don't always agree with Israel (and I know it ain't anti-American to question the policies of Bush). However, this morning I found an article called: "Stunning Jewish Success Dominates American Media: http://rense.com/general60/stun.htm
ADVERTISE NOW?
Mon Nov 22, 2004 at 05:19:00 AM PDT
I'm new here and mostly I prefer to lurk and read, but I have a question. Is there any reason dems can't mount advertsing campaigns that target moderate Republicans in blue states?
