I have begun to question my convictions when it comes to bringing the troops home now.

The invasion and occupation has devestated the infastructure if the country and created a situation of lawlessness. The country is fractured and about to be plunged into civil war and while I would never argue that rule under Sadaam was a good situation it had structure and was not the daily chaos that Iraq has become today.

Our actions of arrogance and hubris have given rise to disorder. What do we owe the country ethically in the securing and rebuilding of the nation regardless of the illegality of beginning the war and the current occupation?
