With the Chinese trading surplus now at $102 billion, it has tripled since last year which was around $32 billion. So couple that with the impending war in Iran, so it seems, and the fact that the country will practically default on its debts in Feburary, where does that leave the once proud US economy?
What branch has more political power? What about States?

I was reading some old comments on another diary and I cam across this great quote about the Senate.."F*** the Senate, where you just end up talking like John Kerry". And it hit me. Is the Senate, once the most powerful part of this republic, truly just a place for old white windbags?
