I never write diaries. Never. This started as a comment on one of the other Minneapolis bridge diaries, but it got too long and couldn't make up its mind whether it was snark or some kind of rant. I've just been so doggone angry at people who think that civilization is some kind of default state that you can starve and abuse and plunder forever and still get up in the morning and everything will be normal, no consequences. I feel better getting it off my chest. So here goes. Fly away little bird!

How to rebuild the I35 Bridge, the republican way

1. First, rebuild an entirely different bridge in a different city. Since that bridge didn’t fall down, knock it down first. Avoid planning what to do about the people who happen to be driving across that bridge at the time. After all, kids who have to ride in school buses couldn’t be, you know, related to anybody who matters.
