Domestic versus International, the Rename Game

This may have been diaried already but I haven't seen it so here goes...
The WH is trying to say that we should stop calling their 4th Amendment violation a "Domestic Spying Program" because it only involves international calls. They even put out a bulletin describing the difference between "domestic" and "international". Link
Outside of the obvious attempt to get away from a damaging and truthful label of "Domestic Spying" and move towards a fuzzier and deceptive name like "Terrorist Surveillance Program", I felt the need to address the examples they use. Please continue below...

First, let's put things in perspective. Ok, it's my perspective, but hey, it's my diary entry. We are not having a "War in Iraq". This whole engagement is part of the "War on Terror", so what is happening there now is only the "Battle in Iraq". More below...

If the title of this diary pissed you off, then join the crowd. How many times a day do you see a comment like the following(?):
"Why bother, we'll just lose anyways"; "It won't make a difference, the Democrats in congress have no spine"; or how about "We are so pathetic, what chance do we have?"
Enough already!!!!!
