Choose your words carefully, they matter now more than ever.

The democrats do not do a great job about framing the message, and we all need to work on changing that, so please read this post.

We all agree that Bush is the worst thing to happen to American, but the Bush presidency is starting to sunset, and attacking him does us NO GOOD WHAT SO EVER.... We need to tie the Bush Presidency right around the necks of the Republicans, and we do that with how we frame the debate.  By the words we choose

Hitler never broke the law, he just made the illegal, legal. Welcome to Bush's America...

You know Hitler never broke the law, he just made the illegal, legal. Welcome to Bush's America...

The Bush Administration has now done what we all knew was coming, they have turned our Justice System into a bona fide arm  of the political process. The Washington Post is reporting that the Justice Department will not be allowed to pursue contempt charges no matter what Congress says. That's it folks, you have just seen that the President has in proclamation stated that he and his administration is about the law, in fact, he says he is the law.

Under Bush the United States now Tortures Children

Today several human rights groups published a paper in a 39 people who have been disappeared by the United States all over the world.  Last September "President" George Bush exclaimed on national television that 11 suspects that were held in illegal secret CIA prisons had been turned over to the US military, his exact statement was, "So I'm announcing today that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Abu Zubaydah, Ramzi bin al-Shibh, and 11 other terrorists in CIA custody have been transferred to the United States Naval Base at Guantanamo Bay."  Now the interesting thing about this announcement was that until that day the administration denied that the CIA even had secret prisons.

HELP - I hear Rumor That RNC Email System was not needed...

Tue Apr 17, 2007 at 05:56:41 PM PDT

that Karl Rove's activities in the White House are not covered under the Hatch Act.

In my three years reading this fine website I seen some amazing sleuth skills put to work. I had some times between meetings that were caught some Air America Radio and one of the commentators or callers had said that the White House talking point, "the RNC accounts were necessary in order to comply with the Hatch Act", was total bull crap.

The Karl Rove and a team of political monkeys that he manages are not covered under the Hatch act, or their activities would not be covered under the Hatch act.  Sadly I am not a lawyer, and the host failed to elaborate in a way that was research will.

The Talking Points Are Out, Make Sure you Have a Response.

Wed Mar 21, 2007 at 10:43:50 AM PDT

The GOP and it’s freeper followers have shown us what the Talking points are going to be, and given that Dems get killed constantly in the battle to frame the argument so I will try to help.

As we all have learned by now, George Bush does not give a sh*t about those that perpetrated the tragic events of September 11, 2001. If he did he would have never gone to Iraq, a nation that had nothing to do with 9/11. Need more proof?

To End War You Must Create More War? Neo-Con Thinking.

Clearly the only think the Neo-cons know is more war. Both of these evil bastards gave almost the same reason for escalating the wars. I have selected a few paragraphs, but I welcome you to go and read them both. We know how one of the wars turned out, so why are repeating it again. Oh I remember because AIE told Bush to, American People 0 , Right-Wing think tank 2.

The Media has Lost Its Mind as the Republicans have Lost Control

Cross post on http://speciousreasoning.com/...

I find it almost comical that the media is all a quiver about the fact that the second in command that Nancy Pelosi wanted, Representative John Murtha, was defeated and the front runner, Representative Steny Hoyer, was elected. The New York Times wrote today, "Nancy Pelosi has managed to severely scar her leadership even before taking up the gavel as the new speaker of the House."

WV-2: Callaghan calls for Capito's resignation from Page Board

Tue Oct 03, 2006 at 06:27:18 PM PDT

Many of you may think that the Great State of West Virginia is fairly red state, this is far from the truth. We have 2 Democrats as Senator (Byrd (not always the best) and Rockefeller), and of the 3 Reps we have, 2/3 are Democrats. So I want to draw attention to the real race in the state, A great Democrat by the name of Mike Callaghan running against the Republican that is found in Jack Abramoff's right pocket, Shelley Moore Capito. She is on the page board, so she is part of this new pro-pedophile agenda the Republicans are sporting.

Dubai Port Deal Closes on Monday, Regardless of 45 Day Review.

It looks like George Bush and the Republican administration
is going to go forth with selling of our US Ports to a known terrorist state. You may have thought, but wait, I thought we were going to have a 45 day wait, Nope...

http://news.yahoo.com/...

Dubai Ports World's $6.85 billion acquisition of Britain's P&O will close on Friday or Monday, despite an additional 45-day review by the U.S. government in response to security concerns, a U.S. Treasury Department official said on Thursday.

"My understanding is that the deal will not close today," Deputy Treasury Secretary Robert Kimmitt told a Senate panel. "Although they had announced March 2 as the closing date ... that deal will not now close until tomorrow or Monday."

Kimmitt made his statement in response to a question from lawmakers on the Senate Banking Committee.

Republicans "Operation Offset" AKA, "Bend Over Americans"

Rawstory.com (Popup Warning) has recived a copy of "Operation Offset" the ofincive my the Republican Party to screw everyone without rolling back the tax cuts. Here are some highlights, just to show you how much the Republicans hate Americans.

The New Republican Values.

Yesterday the "Values President" showed exactly what that means.

Anything goes, as long as you don't break the law.

He said he would dismiss anyone "Involved" with this leak would be gone, now he has changed his tune.

  • Lie to the American People, that's okay, there is no law against it.
  •

  • Cheating on your Wife, fine by Mr. Bush, it's not against the law.
  •

  • Your 10 year old telling you to go "F*ck Yourself", no law was broken.

Action Alert: Hillsborough Co (Tampa) anti gay agenda.

Wed Jun 29, 2005 at 05:38:35 AM PDT

The county that is the home to Tampa has been overrun with right wing whack jobs.

A County Commissioner Ronda Storms has shoved a law, or whatever counties pass that makes it illegal to "abstain from acknowledging, promoting and participating" in gay pride recognition or events. She also did a very dickhole republican move and required a super majority to overturn the law in the future (So much for an up or down vote they always scream about)

Bush using the Military as Backdrop to hide failures as a president

Mon Jun 27, 2005 at 07:21:49 AM PDT

I am not sure exactly the words I am looking for, but I think there is something fundamentally pathetic how this administration uses the military as tool of propaganda. Tomorrow, Mr. Bush is going to address the nation, an attempt to convince us that he has a plan. While anyone with class would have addressed us in the oval office, the Map Room, or even the Rose Garden, having a face to face, heart to heart with the American people. Not Bush, he is going to use the military as a backdrop, an attempt to use the war, and the warrior to prop up his failures as a president. I am sure that every soldier in the audience is hand selected to make sure that he gets the "Hooo Ahhhs" he wants.

Budget - Republicans Action Show they Still Hate Americans.

Republican reaffirms their "Hate Americans" agenda. The house voted on a Friday night, after you went home and geared up for the weekend, in hopes no one would notice, 250 - 151 to basically send the message, "Americans are the problem with America"

Here is some of the breakdown of this budget...

A Vets message to Karl, you are a coward, You ran for war when you had a chance.

Karl said...
Conservatives saw the savagery of 9/11 and the attacks and prepared for war. Conservatives saw what happened to us on 9/11 and said we will defeat our enemies.

Really Karl, you prepared for war? How did you do that, play golf or have dinner at the White House? You make the conservatives sound so strong, yet, if I recall Karl, you have never served, in fact I am not sure you could tell me what a 5 down 2 up on a blue uniform is (it is a rank). I also recall that your puppet Bush ran to protect Austin from the Viet-cong while his fellow Americans were dieing in the rice patties of Vietnam. Cheney had more deferrals than a tree has leaves. So I ask again, how do conservatives prepare for war?

More on the other side....
