I dont know where to turn..I have tried all the red cross national lines they keep giving me the run around. FEMA has no idea.

I am trying to fly into Houston to help but all the local red cross offices phones are busy.

Anyone know if I fly into Houston people could receive us to help? Or is it better to stay put at this point?

Its official Air America is back in Los Angeles.

Well it looks like Air America is getting some new stations this new year including the cities of Detroit, Washington DC, Cincinnati, parts of Vermont and LA (probably).

I am kinda dismayed by the number of people who are unhappy at how things went today.

Look, It took the christian Conservatives 30 years to completely take over the republican party.

I did a search and couldn't find anything about Air America so I am going to give everyone an update.

In today's Cincinnati Enquirer its reported radio station WSAI which is currently oldies (map of coverage) will change to Air America before the end of the year (and its a 50,000 watt station!)

Here in Southern California we have a very large station called KROQ which has been around forever. It is currently owned by Viacomm and has been for sometime (1996 or so i think). It normally plays Alternative Rock most of the time.

Anyway imagine my suprise today when they started playing Eminem's - Mosh on the radio (it was around 1pm in the afternoon).

This is a fairly simple question. I have the money, and a place to stay in NYC during the Republican National Convention. Should I go and protest?

Do you guys/gals think its worth it? (I will also be going to swing states etc in the fall)

Just looking for some other opinions. THanks in advance.

Kendrick Meek (D) from florida is basically telling off Rumsfield right now. Told him he thinks he should resign etc.

Anyone know who he is? He seems great to me. But I have never heard of him.

I dont know what to make of the Chicago Tribune since they got the last story they broke about Air America wrong.

Still I have to ask what is going on over there at Air America (I wish they would at least tell us)

I have a question for everyone out there.

How do you stay postive about the election? I mean we all have down days (and I have having one today) and sometimes it feels like we cant win no matter what. (Other Days I believe nothing can stop us this year)

With all the pundits shouting, talk radio, cable news, conservative friends, and even Npr, how do you stay positive?

I want to get the best suggestions then keep it around so that when anyone gets down about our prospects again in the next year we can look at this file and feel better.

I truely believe this election will come down to hard work and turn out so I hope someone can suggest stuff to keep us all motivated.
