The "Bill Clinton Memory Tour"
Tue May 06, 2008 at 06:41:09 AM PDT
OKAY, I changed it!!!
John McCain and the republican party is going to give Hill & Bill a drive down memory lane, past all his lovers, inculding the YOUNG woman he carried on with while in the white house. Clinton will be up against this everyday, if she is the Candidate.
I am blue collar america... go home hillary
Mon Apr 14, 2008 at 09:57:12 AM PDT
Obama, in one of the best speeches against the patronizing dumbing down of Hillary Clinton's latest remarks about those of us who come from working (blue collar if you will) families of America was painful and insulting to watch. As Obama says, Hillary has gone all "Annie Oakley" on us. Does she have any idea what an ass she looks like. It's clear she doesn't have a clue that most of the hunting done in my poor upstate New York neck of the woods is a JOB, not a SPORT. Most families I know who hunt, do to fill their freezers with venison because beef is too expensive.
Next thing she's join a chain saw competition and tell how wonderful it is that most of the men and women from my town have to spend half the summer cutting and splitting wood so it's not green and will burn well in the winter... it's a job.... not some cultural folk art we woodsie people love to do.
Montana superdelegate forced to retract Obama endorsement, let's thank her for the endorsement!
Fri Apr 11, 2008 at 08:32:01 AM PDT
If there was any doubt in anyone's mind just how much pressure Bill Clinton is putting on the super delegates to either come out for Hillary or to not come out at all....just watch the interview last week with Bill Clinton after Bill Richardson's endorsed Obama.... watch his pointed finger shaking with rage, His body language with his face red enough to burst, threats.... no longer veiled. This short and rageful interview let every super delegate know, if you mess with the Clinton presidential plan, they will not hesitate to tear apart your character. They sent Carville to do a number on Richardson.... James compared Richardson's Obama support as Judas to Jesus.. all this on Easter week as the former President of the United States ranting that he is a liar.
Let's Thank Gov. Bill Richardson for crossing the Clintons to support Obama
Mon Mar 24, 2008 at 03:52:47 PM PDT
Bill and Hill have been the top dogs in the democratic party since Bills first win 16 years ago. The rumors we insiders in our little upstate NY democratic county chairperson & the envelope lickers (myself) are shocking. Apparently a favorite Democratic congressman who was going to come out for Obama months ago received a call from Bill Clinton and shut up immediately and stayed undecided. This guy is no shrinking violet, he was against the war before it was popular, he is an absolute progressive democrat, he was thought of as fearless.. but apparently the Clintons strike some serious fear or he would not be undecided today.... and TODAY is when Obama could use the support. Since the press got a hand slap from the very hip and cool 'Saturday night live', not one week but 2 weeks in a row, Hillary can now do no wrong. It seems Hillary has taken the victim roll to an art form.
Is anybody paying attention to the Bush/Cheney quiet march to war??
Fri Mar 21, 2008 at 11:48:36 AM PDT
While the cable news shows are focused on watching the Clintons hold the democratic party hostage, the real blow up they should be reporting on is the Bush/Cheney march to war with Iran. Not only is this administration going to leave us with a country on the verge of a depression and with debt that can't possibly be paid off in our life time, they are going to hand our next president WW3 as House warming gift!
Addresses to Thank Keith Olbermann for doing what no other newsperson would do
Thu Mar 13, 2008 at 08:42:38 AM PDT
Keith Olbermann has again proven himself a man of character. While we watch the biggest names in news, in politics and in this country sit silently as Hillary Clinton and Geraldine Furorro use the lowest form of filth to blow up the democratic party, Olbermann stuck to his moral values and put himself out on a limb and did the right thing. I believe he deserves a thank you from all of us who appreciate his courage.

WHO IS HILLARY HOLDING HOSTAGE?
Fri Mar 07, 2008 at 10:35:38 AM PDT
Not the American people, they've already decided, Obama has more votes, when they count the next three states, he will still have the lead. So people wondering "why is Hillary doing this"?
Why? Because she's holding the SUPER DELEGATES HOSTAGE. She and her team are trying to bloodie up Obama to the point where the man who came in with years of experience in elected office, the head of his Harvard classes Law Review, with a dream of hope, with a gift to inspire hundreds of thousands into helping, donating, including a new generation of registered young people, yes, Hillary and her boys hope to make Barack Obama unrecognizable. She is showing the Super delegates that Obama, after she and her piglets are done with him, won't have a chance to win.
Why Obama/Clinton or Clinton/Obama is our only choice!
Wed Mar 05, 2008 at 10:42:54 AM PDT
In the last two weeks Clinton has proven what many of us suspected, she will stop at nothing to win this nomination. So, if she somehow gets the super delegates to give her the nomination, as one republican talking head said on last Sunday's Meet The Press, "good luck putting the 'hope' genie back into the bottle.... we republicans are going to sit back, relax and watch the Democratic party blow itself up". If that scenario does play out, Clinton will lose every black vote, all the young folks working for Obama they are the most enthusiastic and largest group of new voters to join the party in YEARS, say bye bye to their votes.... and people like me, 58 year old female, life long democrat, feminist, mother, hard working professional (yeah yeah.. latte drinking) and donating & volunteering for Obama, we WILL stay home election day.
This exuberance over the Obama candidacy is not a "cult of personality" or some kind of
Thu Feb 21, 2008 at 08:21:40 AM PDT
Naive "spiritual awakening"!!!!
Bush has bankrupt this country financially and emotionally, rather that the "land of the free, home of the brave" Bush has turned us into admitted torturers, he invaded a sovern nation (with no provocation) he turned the most superior and powerful military force in the world against a small country who was defenseless against us, ruining the lives of the innocent people of Iraq. For every one of the 600,000 known dead, there are that many plus millions more who survived only to live in squallar, refugee camps.
Hillary sheds a tear and then goes striaght to the Cheney/rove playbook "be afraid, be very afraid"
Tue Jan 08, 2008 at 08:48:43 AM PDT
I must admit that my heart went out to Hillary when I saw the clip where she wells up and almost cries... my sympathy soon turned to disappointment and anger as I watched her do the best version of CHENEY/ROVE style "only we can keep you safe" bull shit I have ever seen.
If you missed it, Olbermann had it on his show last night, it was number 5 on the countdown (http://thenewshole.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2008/01/07/557391.aspx) I'll print his piece below the fold.
Cut the crap Edwards / Obama... don't be stupid!
Tue Dec 11, 2007 at 03:11:18 AM PDT
Diaries titled: Obama goes Negative on Edwards in Iowa DOES NOT HELP JOHN EDWARDS. Opinions like this will get Hillary the nomination.
Edwards and Obama should stay away from attacking each other and I know the Obama people understand this, which is why they have stayed away from this. I do not believe these negative attacks came from Obama. THINK ABOUT IT... wouldn't it be in Hillary's best interest to stir this pot? Hillary's people are as cut throat as Rove and have already applied some of their new rove-sque style 'politics of personal destruction' on OBAMA. Every time I hear the Clinton Campaign has let another volunteer go because they send emails accusing Obama of some awful plan to blow up America...and check out how the good Clinton Campaign states with detailed descriptions, every word of this possibly damaging information. I wish they would give the names of the fired workers... because my bet, there are no workers doing something so stupid. I believe this is a brilliant way for the Clinton people to get this bigoted story in the news once a week.
Democrats now have blood on their hands...
Fri Nov 09, 2007 at 09:36:16 AM PDT
What made the last 6 years bearable for many of us? The fact that there was not a shadow of a doubt that this war and every disgusting part of it, belonged exclusively to George Bush, Dick Cheney and the mostly Republican group of lawmakers who continue to support them. With one international law after another having been ignored, with the hundreds of thousands dead, disabled or insane as a result of it, how can anyone in the house or senate consider giving this administration anything that might add to this mess. I do not understand what makes these people tick? What rational could they possibly have to allow a man who refuses to define torture to run the Justice department. We have worked tirelessly to get Democrats in there to start bringing back the integrity we as a country have lost internationally. I can honestly say that I cannot imagine what reason Schulmer and Feinstein could possibly have to rationalize this vote... even if it were for some political calculation, fear of looking weak, fear of what? Are these people so jaded that they don't even see just how disgraceful this is? Has the propiganda inside the beltway made them freaking crazy?

Let's give moveon.org $ every time Rudy opens his mouth!
Wed Sep 19, 2007 at 10:42:41 AM PDT
If moveon.org gets a donation every time Rudy opens his mouth.. he and the rest of the immoral, bullies in the Republican party, those who put our children in Iraq.. those that know we lost the war but continue to support Bush as a political calculation, let's make move on rich.

Let Meet the Press know we want more Kos!!! (addresses included)
Sun Aug 12, 2007 at 09:25:15 AM PDT
Write to "Meet The Press" (and DLC) and let them know there are lots of us who believe the future of politics is dailykos not the old school democrats (DLC). It was a stark contrast watching the two men this morning, Ford sounded like a used car salesman, Kos ran circles around him. The DLC... stick a fork in them.
How dare Bush and the Congress take a vacation while our children are dying every day in Iraq!
Thu Aug 09, 2007 at 08:43:35 PM PDT
How dare Bush have his photograph on that freaking $200,000 boat with mommy and daddy while our soldiers are sweating to death and getting their brains blown out while he's fishing.
Please, explain to me.. how does this work.
Who will finally say ENOUGH, what republican
Mon Jul 09, 2007 at 03:35:17 PM PDT
from the top or the middle or the bottom of the power structure in this White House will find the courage to do the right thing. When powerful politicians and conservative editors cover up the behavior of this administration, those in charge of informing the public who instead, state the administrations opinions as if they were fact, those who call this president brave because he sticks to his guns and will not be swayed. Who will stop rationalizing this completely incompetent man who behavior is like that of a spoiled child, a man who should be led out of the Whitehouse and sent back to Texas or perhaps a jail cell, immediately, for the good of the country.
OBESSION WITH HIS LEGACY... BUSH IS PATHETIC
Sat Jul 07, 2007 at 03:56:05 PM PDT
Bush, so obsessed with his "legacy", he's having tea parties to schmooze "One at a time or in small groups, he summons leading authors, historians, philosophers and theologians to the White House to join him in the search. Over sodas and sparkling water, he asks his questions: What is the nature of good and evil in the post-Sept. 11 world? What lessons does history have for a president facing the turmoil I'm facing? How will history judge what we've done? Why does the rest of the world seem to hate America? Or is it just me they hate?" (article By Peter Baker, Washington Post Staff Writer, Monday, July 2, 2007; A01).
