John Edwards visited San Jose, CA yesterday evening. He was at San Jose State University for a public speech ($15). I sent him my contribution and then showed up for the speech. I arrived by 5 and Edwards showed up by 5:30. He talked until 6, shook hands until 6:30 and then was gone.

Apropro nothing in particular, but I was checking out various blogs, as we are all wont to do, and on Salon, I came across a reference to a rightwing blogger who had spent 40 minutes in bush's company. Now, since I haven't yet found a rightwing blogger who wasn't an ultra rightwing hack who had drunk the koolaid, I was expecting him to be in awe of his "great leader." But, even prepared like that, I was awestruck by what I found. I hate to link to the guy because he is clearly deranged and obviously any extra views will just encourage him. But, still, it is really beyond expectations what his blog on his visit spewed.

Having not seen these here, I'd thought that it'd be fun to show some of the winning entries. The photos get a bit more interesting when we see Hunter's  great rip on the rightwing lies. After being intrigued by what the scum Powerline blog calls pro-terrorist photos, I went in search of said photos. Of course, I didn't want to just the one that raised their ire, I wanted to see them all. I'm glad that I did. They exist Here.
