The New York Times had an interesting article on the 3rd that is scaring me to death.

Is this just pork?  Or, at a time when this administration is facing dismal approval ratings, monumental scandals and the chance that if the Democrats do win control of the legislative body investigations could be made into possible war crimes and crimes against humanity - is their "Final Solution" for liberals and Democrats?

This is a rant.  That's all I seem to be able to do anymore.  If you don't want to read a rant, you should probably go to the next diary.

I can't say this to my friends because I am too angry to say this in a diplomatic way.  

So, yet again, I will cry to the choir.

As I occasionally do, last night I cruised the Yahoo News blogs just to see the rethuglicon comments on the latest shrub fiasco, this time the admission of our soldiers' desecration of the Koran.

The amount of adolescent rage, brutality, disregard for facts, religious intolerance and ignorance, and sheer over-the-top hatred of all Democrats, liberals and non-Americans was simply astounding.

If this reflects 45% of our population I am afraid that we are seriously doomed as a society.  At what percentage do we officially reach "barbaric"?
