Senator Reid today announced the committe assignments for the 110th Congress.

Sorry for the off-topic diary, but it's late and night and I figure there are enough interesting people here that I could get some good ideas.  I work at my computer most of the day, and I like having either music or a program playing while I'm working, and now I realize I'm out of things to listen to.

I feared this for awhile, and am now convinced of it.

There is a reason that there hasn't been a president elected directly from the Senate since Kennedy.

There are too many votes with which to mislead the public.  Kerry was accused of cutting intelligence, of cutting military spending, of voting for higher taxes, of just being "too liberal."  And they could point to lots and lots of his votes to "prove" it.
