SuperDelegate Primary is now needed!

Mon Jun 02, 2008 at 06:36:07 AM PDT

After this weeks R&B DNC meeting and HRC's win in
Puerto Rico this weekend it is now time to lock these SuperDelegates into a vote as well.  Hillary has claimed that "it ain't over till its over" and that SuperDelegates are not bound and can change their minds at will ... thus a Primary amoung superdelegates is now necessary to shut down her campaign.

She will never ever concede, bow out, suspend her campaign or truly support Barack Obama in obtaining the presidency because she is in effect a sore ass loser.  It is clear now that Obama will be the nominee she is just hanging around waiting for something to happen to him so she can slither back in and compete against John Sidney McSame.

Well its the Friday before a primary...

Fri Apr 18, 2008 at 06:41:46 AM PDT

Every Friday before a "major" primary the Clinton campaign has attempted some type of stunt to hurt Obama's momentum before the weekend rerun news cycles start in order to have the proverbial "last word" before voting starts.

  1.  In NH there were the "tears" or "tearing up" victim card
  1.  In NV we saw accusations of union member harassment/disenfranchisement
  1.  In SC we saw a rabid Bill Clinton threatening to go into Black neighborhoods personally if he had to in order to strong arm votes.
  1.  In OH we saw the angry nagging mom version of Clinton with the "Shame on you" comments. ( that was funny as hell)
  1.  In TX we saw the infamous "3AM" ad
  1.  So What will we see today for PA?  (personally I would love to see her withdraw, hey I can dream can't I?.. LOL)

What do you guys think?

Politics, Race & Religion... The tough intersection

Fri Mar 14, 2008 at 08:01:22 AM PDT

I started this diary inside another diary honestly then i just said.. ok whatever, let me make this a real diary.  Yes some of you will have flames, snark or what ever but I really wish people would realize how complex the maze of politics, race, and religion in this country are.  Yeah.. its an opinion but i think my opinion type is missing from Kos.

Yes I am a "privileged" Blackman on the left but there are just certain people in the Black Community that I support and trust and will always respect in spite of the so-called controversy they supposedly create or created in America during their lives.  YES I support Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, Malcolm X, Marcus Garvey, Molefi Asante, Dr. Na'im Akbar, Michael Eric Dyson, Tavis Smiley, Dr. Frances Cress Welding, Martin Luther King, Barack Obama, Dr. Carter G Woodson, Frederick Douglas, Oprah Winfrey, Public Enemy, Tupac Shakur, Dr. Khalid Muhammad, Elijah Muhammad, Thurgood Marshal, Colin Powell, Jesse Jackson, Andrew Young, Cornell West, Anthony Browder and countless others... All of these people have been important on my journey in America as a Blackman.

the "BOO HOO BOUNCE" + THE "BRADLEY EFFECT"

Wed Jan 09, 2008 at 07:04:01 AM PDT

I am a staunch Black progressive that wishes to see a dem in the whitehouse in 2008.  But after I saw Hillary Clinton set women back 25years by crying on camera then going back into attack mode I was honestly disgusted.  So disgusted in fact that if it was a Hillary/Mccain match I'd vote for Mccain over Hillary..... and that would be hard but that's what I might do.

Hillary's Boo Hoo Bounce and Bill Clinton's all day attack on Barack Obama were an insight into their true colors.  Bill Clinton really really lost my respect yesterday by referring to Obama's campaign as a "fairytale".  He has lost his everloving mind.

The Clintons are really pulling out all stops to win the Primary and attain the whitehouse mantle and its shameful. Hopefully Obama can rise above it and NOT use his race as a vote getting tactic.

V is not for Vendetta, it is for Victory.

Sun Mar 19, 2006 at 09:07:54 PM PDT

This commentary will be short and sweet.

V is A MUST SEE MOVIE for all in our community and our nation.    This movie was truly engrossing, entertaining, and enlightening.  There was a masterful collusion of poetry, classic literature and theme, action, and parallels to our world that cannot be denied or underscored enough.

PLEASE PASS THE WORD.

This movie takes the Matrix and Fahrenheit 911 and combines them into a true work of art on the Silver Screen.  I have not been this engrossed in a movie in years.  This film will get trashed by the likes of the punditocracy, and the right wingnuts of our country, but DAMN - I have a "high" right now of sorts, it is hard to explain the broad field this movie addresses and handles in such a masterful and artful way.

PLEASE RECOMMEND.

THANX,
Master Hurrikane.

The Onslaught of the 50 HOUR WORK WEEK.

Mon Dec 05, 2005 at 11:34:11 AM PDT

I am so upset to find out that in January my company will be going to the 5 day a week 10hr/day  format.  This labor law change will apply to salaried and hourly workers both.  It will now require 50 hours of labor before overtime kicks in.
That means an extra 2 hours per day for a work day in many cases.

I cannot believe that there has not been an uproar about this yet.  I hope there is one in January when the "common man" wakes up to the REAL Bush plan for economic servitude to the rich and powerful.

What's next, the return of Debtor's Prisons????

BUSH and the Pool of Bad Luck

This is a very interesting article posted at

I was linked there by Buzzflash.

Does Bush need a life raft for all of the scandals that this administration is enveloped in?  I hope so.

THOUGHTS ON THE REVENGE OF THE SITH...

Wed May 18, 2005 at 11:57:48 PM PDT

This was a great movie.  I only wish the Phantom Menace was so powerful and full of emotion.  I just came back from seeing the premier.  The comparisons to our current administration were incredible.

The twists the Sith Lord made to Annikan's mind remind me of the American public right now.  The statement that "good" is based on "point of view" is so important that it was reprehensibly understated in the film.

Any Thoughts??
