I'm scared, too. Car sales are very bad .

Although my situation isn't nearly as dire as Disillusioned, things in auto sales are very bad right now... which doesn't bode well for the rest of the economy.
I work as a sales associate for a successful Toyota dealership here on Long Island. Under normal circumstances, I usually sell and deliver between 15 and 20 cars per month. Last month, in the aftermath of post-Katrina $3.50 per gallon gas prices, I sold 12.5 cars. Not the end of the world, but nothing to write home about either. September is usually a very good month, though.
Jon Jost's "Homecoming"

First, let me say that I hope I am not breaking any DailyKos protocols by schilling for what is essentially somebody's business. I hereby disclose that while I am acquainted with Jon Jost, we are not 'friends' and I am not financially connected with his movie making enterprises in any way, shape or form.
However, considering the remarkable absence of narrative movies dealing with post-September 11th, post-Iraq War, post-Bush America, I think his most recent feature, 'Homecoming', will be of interest to many DKOS members.
More on the flip.
