What would you ask Alito
Wed Jan 11, 2006 at 12:32:16 PM PDT
Ted Kennedy has just sent an email with a link where you can submit a question to Alito.
I think striking down this nomination is critically important to the future of our country...so although many of you may have received this email, I hope some others who have not submit a question and then spread the word.
Ask Alito
The email does not specifically say what will be done with these questions, but if there are several submitted, there is a better chance that something positive will come of this effort.
New NJ Campaign Ad
Fri Sep 30, 2005 at 06:03:36 AM PDT
I just saw a campaign ad (I'm not sure who sponsored the ad, but I can only assume it was Corzine -I missed the "Paid for xxx")
It focused on how Doug Forrester (NJ Republican candidate) agrees with GWB on upper-class tax cuts, education cuts for NJ, putting the burden of environmental clean-up on consumers vs. corporations and a few other issues.
The tagline for the ad was something like:
George Bush supports Doug Forrester for governor, do you?
This is exactly the kind of messaging candidates should be using all across the country, especially those states and districts with high levels of "voter remorse" (as coined by another Kossack).
Dean's Letter for Ferrer
Thu Sep 15, 2005 at 07:00:17 AM PDT
As many of you probably know, Howard Dean sent an email today asking for contributions to Ferrer's campaign.
While I will vote for Ferrer, he is widely viewed as a huge underdog. I am interested in others views of this outreach by the DNC? Do you think it will have an effect on the election if several major party contributors decide to fund his campaign?
See some of Dean's message on the other side...

Barbara Bush Quote
Thu Sep 08, 2005 at 08:35:50 AM PDT
I'm not sure if any diaries have covered this issue, but I'm going to write about it anyway...
This from U.S. Newswire, earlier this week:
In a quote regarding the Astrodome by Barbara Bush on the Keith Olbermann Show, she stated,
"the conditions in the Dome are sufficient enough for those people since they were underprivileged anyway."
