Stop BULLS****ING US Sen. Feingold
Tue May 22, 2007 at 04:16:13 PM PDT
You're the one with the power to stop this Total Surrender to the Preident, NOT US. We're all calling our Senators right now but you're the only one who can tell Harry Reid you're pulling your consent so the Senate can't operate on Unanimous consent and you're the only one writing diaries on Kos today who can use the power of the Filibuster to stop this total Surrender by Both Harry Reid and Nancy Polosi.
Either Stand up and be counted or you own the DEAD KIDS from now until Sept just as much as the rest of them.
Whichever Senator Filibusters this deserves our support in 08 for the Presidency if None have the balls to stop this then Edwards should get the Nomination.
Lieberman Disloyalty knows no bounds
Fri Nov 10, 2006 at 05:54:26 PM PDT
Joe Lieberman today denounced his membership in the Connecticut For Lieberman Party(CFL) and begged the press and anyone else he could convince or pay ($60 a day) to listen to please refer to him as a Democrat.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/...
Is there no Bounds to this mans Disloyalty?
LMAO
I can't wait for Liebermans son Matt to come out and chastise all those members of CFL for not "Sticking with Joe" just because he wanted to stop the "Tripartisan Bickering the CFL party had Created"
President awaits "Permission Slip" to capture Osama
Fri Sep 15, 2006 at 07:23:57 PM PDT
What other conclusion can one come to after Listening to the answers from our President as to why our military hasn't gone into Pakistan to capture the man responsible for 9/11.
Every expert and 3 letter agency in the our federal governments best estimate is that Osama bin Laden is in the mountainous area between Afganistan and Pakistan but today George W Bush admitted he's waiting to be invited into the area by the Pakistani Government.
My Question? Does Musharaf have to sign the Permission slip or would a permission slip signed by Osama be sufficient?
Dumpjoe.com says THANKYOU
Fri Aug 11, 2006 at 11:50:33 AM PDT
Thank you to everyone here at Kos, in Connecticut, and across the country. Although mine was the public face put on the "Dump Joe" effort, there were plenty of others who deserve at least equal credit.
First mentioned must be Ed Anderson (Deanfan84). He and I have been partners since the days we attempted to organize the striking workers for Dean at Yale in Sept of '03. We two, on our own dime, got almost every one of them to wear a DEAN FOR AMERICA bumper sticker on their strikers' placards and a DEAN pin on their lapels. We got Howard Dean to come talk to the strikers and, with the help of many others, had New Haven wrapped up for Dean before 2004 began.
Lieberman Press Conference at 1PM today
Mon Jul 03, 2006 at 09:31:15 AM PDT
Joe Lieberman has called a Press conference on the steps of the Capital in Hartford for 1PM today. My Sources are telling me his staffers are calling reporters to tell them this is a Major announcement and they should attend.
Many Believe Lieberman will announce he is indeed taking out petitions to gather the 7500 signatures needed to be on the Nov. ballot as an independent since his pollster has already told him he is losing among Most Likely and Likely Voters.
I have sources in attendence and will update as news becomes available.
UPDATE:
Hey Sen. Inhofe, You outraged at the outrage now?
Mon May 29, 2006 at 06:35:40 PM PDT
Well we've now got our My Lai Massacre. It was, after all,Just a matter of time.
Watching the Cowards who call thenselves Senators at the Senate Hearing on Abu Gharib we all new this was coming but lets recap the lowlights anyway.
Coward # 1,Sen. Lieberman-----"Noone
apologized to us for 9/11"
Sinnce noone in Abu Gharib had anything to do with 9/11 that's not suprising,Is it Joe?
Coward #2,Sen McCain, " I had to walk out of the hearings or I might have actually said a word against torture"
Thatt's not an actual quote but it summerizes his scene in act 1 of this story.
Coward #3 Sen Lindsey Graham--"we"re all embarassed as hell so lets sweep this this under the rug as quickly as possible like we do with all things unpleasant where I come From"
(Another use of license)
I can hardly wait for the Senate Hearings on the Massacre at Haditha.
They should last almost 4 hours.
Does Ted Kennedy Support Joe Liebermans Reelection?
Mon May 01, 2006 at 02:56:29 PM PDT
Well Tweety asked him today on Hardball and Kennedy danced and Danced and said everything but YES.
Kennedy also said that Democrats have a great chance to and he thinks they will capture the House and Senate in 06 and the presidency in 08.This isn't suprising but the way he avoided endorsing Lieberman is and I hope everyone gets a chance to see this when hardball is shown again tonite.
Lieberman Endorses McCain 08 and War with IRAN
Sat Feb 04, 2006 at 05:30:22 PM PDT
In Just a couple of Sentences today Joe Lieberman managed to Endorse Both a War with Iran and John McCain for President in 08.
http://www.mydd.com/...
If there are still any on this weblog who still dare Defend this war mongering Republican Endorsing peice of shit don't ever call yourselves a Democrat again.
Joe Lieberman has proven Himself to be the equivelent or even less than Zell Miller and all of you who didn't believe he was capable of giving a speech just like Zells 04 gutter snipe shit better be ready to eat those words.
Lieberman kisses another Republican while our kids Bleed to death needlessly
Thu Jan 05, 2006 at 06:58:12 PM PDT
Never one to do anything for our soldiers but always right there to kiss any Republican ass offered Joe Lieberman Reached a new low this week.
As pointed out by the New Haven register here http://www.nhregister.com/...
and expanded on here http://www.myleftnutmeg.com/...
our soldiers in Iraq are 'Bleeding out" and dying because an inferior bandage manufacturer made a stategic investment by Donating to Republicans.
A Connecticut company manufactures much more effective bandages but donated to the the party Joe can never say anything nice about. You'd think Joe would have Been on Fox Screaming from high Heaven but
http://dumpjoe.com/ been very very busy

GBCW
Fri Sep 30, 2005 at 05:16:01 PM PDT
Well,Tommorrows the day for my Hip replacement surgery so at 6:30am I'll be in the hospital and begin my 10 days of no Kos(unless I can rent a laptop in the hospital, lol) so GBCW doesn't really fit here but it was a great hook for what I want to talk about today.
HEALTH INSURANCE
I attended a pre-op course with 25 other people who are having Joint replacement Surgery(1 knee or both) or hip (1 or both) and we spent over 60% of the time with questions on,you guessed it,Insurance.
No 2 people in the room had the exact same plan and the entire experience was eyepopping. The Heathcare Providers were experts on getting around the insurance companies and in many instances told people not to "act" like you were doing to well or your care will cut short and the thearapy that you need for the best chance at a full recovery will be denied.
THANK YOU ANSWER
Mon Sep 26, 2005 at 09:04:09 PM PDT
thank you for pulling the permits and all the logistic work neccasary for the rally Saturday
For being resourceful enough to pull off this huge feat in such a short time and for exposing the ineptitude of the Dem Party and all the communities and organizations associated with it.
Your reward for this was a couple of hours of coverage by C-span of the people and issues you chose and although I differ with many of them that was your right. You do the work and you get the mic.Thats the American way.
I hope those who have a simpler and more focused agenda can take your place should another rally be neccasary but since the Dem Party and their interest groups, communities and organizations seem to be as inept as ever I guess I'll have to keep your card in my rolodex.
CT Dem Pols prove Rove right
Sun Sep 18, 2005 at 07:01:25 PM PDT
I attended the Rally in New Haven, Ct today,Set up my table with free Dump Joe Bumper stickers and spoke to a few hundred people who mostly agreed that their junior Senator is a disgrace and listened to the heartwrenching speeches given by Veterans for Peace,Iraq war veterans for Peace,Goldstar Families for Peace and others. I'm guessing the crowd numbered around 1000 or so but something was obviously missing.
No elected official of any stature dared to show up.
Rosa DeLauro, who consistently wins with close to 70% of the vote and who voted AGAINST the IWR wasn't there.
John Larson, who represents the Hartford area and consistently wins with almost the same % as Rosa and also voted against the IWR wasn't there,
Howard Dean is back and talking policy
Fri Sep 09, 2005 at 02:14:29 PM PDT
On CNN with Wolf Blitzer Howard gave everyone hear a reminder of what Democrats should be saying and exactly how they shoulkd be saying it.
Blitzer even played Laura Bush defending her husband and Dean still wouldn't give an inch.
paraphrasing Dean
"It';s not what you say it what you do and your policies that determine whether you care asbout all the american people and the presidents policies shows he only cares about the top 20%.
I cant wait for the transcript and am begging Crooksandliars.com to put this interview up
Thank you Dr Orman
Thu Sep 08, 2005 at 01:11:22 PM PDT
I met Dr. Orman,With aboiut 10 others a few days after he announced his intention to run and we all talked and shared a few pitchers of beer.He knew from the beginning that his chances were 1 in a million but also that his effort would force Joe to stop going on Fox and Bashing Dems and to stop saying things like ""Bottom line, I think Bush has it right."
http://www.newyorker.com/fact/content/index.ssf?050321fa_fact
Hi effort encouraged others to come foward and blast Joe at a Ct Dem state central meeting in Hartford for his vote for Gonzales and his support for Bushes war,
http://www.swingstateproject.com/2005/04/nomentum_lieber.html
and Joe still is no lock for the Dem nomination in this state.
Many people are encouraging AG Dick Blumenthol to challenge Joe in a primary. If he announced tommorrow he would be the front runner for the nomination and everyone knows it.
Collins and Lieberman Clear Conflict of interest
Tue Sep 06, 2005 at 07:38:36 PM PDT
These two Senators, with Lieberman as chair, sheaperded the legislation that created the Dept.of Homeland Security(DHS) and therefore have a Clear conflict of interest in the investigation and should recuse themselves.
Decisions they made, including putting FEMA under the umbrella of DHS,will have to be scrutinized and perhaps critisized to the point of admitting mistakes and politicians in a position like this are required to recuse themselves.
It's that simple.
If the Senate decides to do an investigation these two should take no part in it.
President Bush,PLEASE RAISE MY TAXES
Tue Aug 30, 2005 at 08:58:30 PM PDT
I'n not wealthy but Between the Iraq war and your tax cuts my country is borrowing 2 billion a day and that is before the courant disaster, Hurricane Katrina, just caused.
I know you think the rich people in this country pay to much in taxes so even if you can't bring yourself to raise their taxes raise those of the people like me who got that 800 dollar advance on our tax return a couple of years ago.I took a three day vacation with my kids last week to Springfield Mass, which was our first vacation in 3 yrs, but I'm certain my son and my daughter will understand that the kids living in New Orleans,Mississippi, and Alabama need our help now and if that means that we have to wait three more yrs for our next vacation they'll be fine with that.
someone,please give Tweety a hummer
Sun Aug 21, 2005 at 09:12:42 AM PDT
And I don't mean the one you drive.
With Iraq already in a civil war,64 more kids dead this month alone,Fitzgeralds investigation in DC having every administation figure squeezing there cheeks tight hoping to avoind the coming indictments,Bolton being identified as one of the people involved in the AIPAC spy case,Spector telling Rummy to STFU,thousands taking part in candllite vigils to stop the war and the Administratios people giving a big fuck you to womans rights in Iraq Tweety does almost his entire show on what else ,MONICA.
Someone, anyone,I beg you to take care of Tweetys obvious needs.
