Bloomberg? Maybe. And you should too.

I am a Democrat, for the most part. I have only voted for one Republican in my entire life and that was when there was no Democrat running in a nonpartisan race. It was a way to help the lesser of two evils.
However, I will seriously consider voting for Michael Bloomberg if he runs.
I do not make such a statement lightly. Not voting for a Democrat would be a big deal for me.
Bush's House of Cards

I am a frequent reader of DKos and a very infrequent commenter (if it has already been said I don't want to add to the clutter), however, I think we have really missed a major aspect of the revelations of domestic spying on Americans by the Bush Administration. If my gut instincts are correct, then we have an opportunity that rarely comes around in politics and has yet to come about with this presidency.
We can erode support of Bush amongst even his most devoted supporters (conservatives who pay little attention to politics) and perhaps use this as leverage to build support for a Democratic majority in Congress. We proponents of sane government may even be able to gather the critical mass for impeachment (which we know will never happen but would immobilize the Republicans).
Join me below the fold as I lay out my thinking.
