Death Threats from a fellow web user (dkos user? possibly)
Thu Dec 29, 2005 at 07:53:03 PM PDT
This diary is a little different.
I receieved an e-mail death threat today from a dkos user. No big deal right? No big deal, probably. I am posting here because it came from a fellow dkos reader, and maybe that person would like to own up to the action.
The e-mail, shown below the fold with headers, is an attempt at anonymous intimidation. The sender used a bogus AOL address as a return path in order to remain hidden.
No, Really, Down with Christmas - KILL IT, DEAD
Mon Dec 26, 2005 at 05:55:02 PM PDT
The whole "War On Christmas" has been a fun roll in the hay these last few months.
But there is a significant aspect that gets overlooked. After you discount O'Reilly's faux outraged attitude, and ignore the sparse smatterings of justification that are used to backup claims of the war, and after you celebrate the season however you see fit, there is something else to consider.
It's time to kill Christmas.
Meta Diary: Bozos Rnot4 Bush is a pathetic ratings abuser
Tue Dec 06, 2005 at 09:00:08 PM PDT
Well I think I may have to make this a habit. In a land of liberals you'd think that discourse could be had without resorting to ratings abuse to punish those whom you disagree with.
Bozos Rnot4 Bush is a clear, plain, and simple ratings absuer.
More about this below, including "undeniable evidence".
Tookie Williams: Guilty or Not Guilty?
Thu Dec 01, 2005 at 08:02:14 AM PDT
So I've been researching the Tookie Williams case, and trying to determine what the real story is.
The State says that the evidence is strong, and overwhelming. Tookie and his team have claimed for 25 years that he was framed, as a pretense for getting him behind bars, and that the only evidence against him is false or incredible.
So, what is it, guilty or not guilty?
Alito: Strip Search Case And Bogus Hysteria?
Tue Nov 01, 2005 at 01:14:02 PM PDT
First off, feel free to hate and/or oppose Alito. This is not an endorsement of him or his politics, or Bush, or the White House, or the Republican Party.
I've seen all over the place comments about Alito allowing the strip search of a 10-year old girl and her mother because the father and husband and the family home was being searched for narcotics.
This is probably the MOST dishonest attack I've seen on a judge or really anyone. It's really sad that despite everything wrong with Alito this is where it stands: hysterically misrepresenting a complex technical argument about the 4th amendment.
Woodward: Little real damage done by Plame leak
Thu Oct 27, 2005 at 08:37:52 PM PDT
I caught some of Larry King just now, and Bob Woodward claims that the CIA did an internal review of what damage the Plame outing caused:
