This is straight from MSNBC. They were interviewing local reporter 5 mins ago. He divulged that a new poll coming out today shows obama with a 21 point lead after his multiple visits to the state recently.
The reporter finished by saying that if Davidson can beat Georgetown, than there is no reason to count Clinton out in NC just yet.
BUT, NONTHELESS THIS IS DEVASTATING NEWS FOR CLINTON.
As soon as we have a link i'll post it..

IT is the most ludicrous argument , and its not only being made by this author rodriguez, but also by Bill Kristol in the NYT.

Peggy Noonan on Barack Obama: The Thinking Man's Speech
Thu Mar 20, 2008 at 11:23:18 PM PDT
Very rarely would you expect a piece by Peggy Noonan to be flattering to Democrats. After all, she is former speechwriter to Ronald Reagan, and a strong conservative.
Today, in the Wall Street Journal, one of the most conservative mainline editorial pages in the country, Peggy Noonan gives Barack Obama a tribute.
She extolls the virtues of a speech starting even with the tiitle of her column:
"The thinking man's speech"
Perhaps this is a title that wouldnt be written by a left leaning editorialist as it is gender specific. But, the phrase is powerful. It engenders within us an image of someone who finds beauty in this speech and finds room for conversation, thought, and more.

Hillary Clinton pushing Reverend Wright Story
Wed Mar 19, 2008 at 07:19:30 PM PDT
The media narrative up until now has been that Hillary Clinton is steering clear of the Reverend Wright story.
Now we know that this isnt true. A newspaper that has endorsed Hiilary Clinton, her hometown newspaper, no less than the THE New York Times has come out with this extremely devastating tid bit that is buried in their latest column that in itself is not very helpful to Ms. Clinton.
The truth is that HRC is furiously working behind the scenes to tie the "wright problem" to Obama irrevocably. She is actively convincing superdelegates that his candidacy is doomed because of Wright.
Hillary Clinton is complicit in pushing the Wright story.
How do i know?

Take a look at this:
We have one week to change the course of history.
Sat Mar 15, 2008 at 12:52:58 PM PDT
Barack Obama's Pennsylvania hopes are riding on the will of Independent Voters coming out in large numbers. These voters can only vote if they register democratic by March 24th.
This gives us literally only days to get the message out.,
These people are receptive to Baracks message.
In fact most are for him, but wouldnt know the registration rules.
So we need to contact them, and we need the help of Kossacks to call Pennsylvania like there is no tomorrow.
Because the essence of this campaign has been to spread the message that senator obama is bringing , PERSONALLY to our neighbrs, friends and all those we can reach.
Please call PENNSYLVANIA. Today tomorrow, during the week, in your spare moments.
The time for change is now.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for our party, and for our country to spearate ourselves from the politics of division and bring us forward healing wounds, and solving problems.

Obama's slow response
Fri Mar 14, 2008 at 07:24:55 AM PDT
Barack Obama has yet to repudiate the comments as forcefully as possible.
He has yet to do it. This is not the kind of swift response he needs.
This story is blanketing the airwaves.
I think his support is dropping with every minute this scandal goes on.
This is a crisis and the Obama has not said things as forcefully as he should and address this HEAD ON.
Before you call me a troll, read my comment and diary history.
For now, all I can say to fellow obama supporters is , we need to tell our campaign to do something NOW.
Obama's Pastor Controversy
Thu Mar 13, 2008 at 06:45:12 PM PDT
preaching to his congregation, Reverend Wright has made statements that were popular with his targeted audience, but mentioned presidential candidate Barack Obama.
These comments were on the whole a commentary on racial divides in America, as well as gender issues.
On the whole the comments can clearly be perceived as inflammatory by a wider general audience and will especially be taken as such by a media seeking controversy.

A Roaring Start in Rural PA for Obama
Wed Mar 12, 2008 at 06:30:48 AM PDT
There has been much speculation ono the blogs or what kind of strategy Obama should have in Pennslvania with 6 weeks to go to the primary. Its clear, sme think he should minimize the importance of Pa while others argues for him to fight for rural votes with all he's got while others say to focus on the suburban areas around Philly to pull things out.
What we know now is that Obama has just begun the fight in Pennsylvania. There is increasing evidence that he intends to campaign in Pennsylvania on the ground and get the word out about his message and plan for this country.
Instead of Geraldine Ferraro and other distracting issues, the truth is that even rural pennsylvanianas care more about their job security and issues of health care MORE than issues of race. So kudos to obama for FIghting the GOOD fight.

"Meet me in Pennsylvania"
Tue Mar 11, 2008 at 08:19:53 PM PDT
meet me in pennsylvania, barack. i dare you. i mean there's a primary there in six weeks and i know you'll campaign there, but just in case you didnt know, i am ahead in the polls by 15 -20 points and i will scor ethe biggest upset in history of primaries if i beat you there by 8 points. and then all the superdelegates will know the truth. and its just like gerry ferraro says, stop blaiming us for being white women, and i just dare you....meet me in pennsylvania. a state i was born in, a state i've always loved, and i dare you ...meet me in pennsylvania .
SUPERDELEGATE JON CORZINE
Mon Mar 10, 2008 at 04:23:26 PM PDT
"I think the popular vote is more important"- Jon Corzine, MSNBC HARDBALL.
Answer to Matthews question:
If one wins he popular vote and the other the delgates, who will you vote for.
and he said: the popular vote is more important.
Gov. Corzine will base his vote on the popular vote. Total popular vote, rather than delegates.
The question is, how realistic is it that HRC wins the popular vote?
with OR without Florida and Michigan?
Now we have a clue as to how at least one very powerful superdelegate is thinking.
SO KOSSACKS, I ask you, what are Obama's chances to win the popular vote?
ITS TIME TO DOUBLE DOWN!
Thu Mar 06, 2008 at 02:07:02 PM PDT
and I'm not kidding.
Barack Obama needs our help to fight the Clinton machine.
They are spreading posionous venom talking about commander in chief threshold.
FYI: She has never met my commander in chief threshold, namely, honesty competence, and justice for the american people.
I usually only give 25 dollars to barack at atime.
Today I am giving 50.
ITS TIME TO DOUBLE DOWN.
WONT YOU JOIN ME?

Obama's fundraising totals.
Mon Mar 03, 2008 at 05:28:40 PM PDT
IT seems to me that the lack of hard numbers from the obama campaign shows just how well run this campaign is.
Obama's campaign is counting on the fact that tomorrow will be a good day for the campaign.
Wea re all hopeful.
But they know that if things, god forbid, do not go well tomorrow, they will need to stem the hemorrhaging with something.
What would be better than Blowout fundraising numbers to put Obama in good stead in the public airwaves.
Not to mention the deluge of donations that are sur eto come , if, God Forbid, things don't go well tomorrow.
But FOR THE RECORD, I PREDICT an OBAMA BLOWOUT tomorrow.
Ohio by 8, Texas by 12, RI by 3 and Vermont by 23.
You heard it here first.
John Hagee is the Antichrist
Sat Mar 01, 2008 at 02:05:42 PM PDT
John Hagee wants war with Iran, right now.
John Hagee believes in the endtimes in which all but Christians will be damned to hell.
John Hagee supports Israel but feels Jews are to blame for their own persecution.
John Hagee has the unquivocal support of Joe Lieberman
John Hagee SUPPORTS John McCain for President.
John Hagee stood next to John McCain and John McCain eagerly and enthusiastically accepted John Hagee's endorsement.
This is Bill MOyers transcript of his show highlighting John Hagee's extremism:http://www.pbs.org/moyers/journal/10052007/transcript5.html
IS THIS WHAT CHRIST WOULD DO???
John McCain is a known adulterer.
Fri Feb 29, 2008 at 04:12:00 PM PDT
Republicans always talk about character. John MCain's character .
But it is documented thet John McCain began an extramarital relationship with Cindy Hensley while he was still married to his first wife.
This is important.
This is the kind of character they want in the White House?
Is this Gary Bauer or Pat Robertson's idea of a man embodying Christian character??
He committed adultery, and his career in republican circles advanced.
I would like John McCain to answer why he believes it was okay for him to cheat on his first wife.
And everyone knows that the past is prologue.

Barack's middle name - what a muslim thinks?
Thu Feb 28, 2008 at 04:59:53 PM PDT
Lets turn the tables.
if you were muslim, and the whole poltical debate centered around your candaate having to renounce the very idea that he might be associated with islam, how would that feel?
Truly, this shows muslims , like myself, edcated muslims who have given much to this country, that this country cares not for the likes of us.
That, to me, is utterly devastating becuase as I grew up in this country, I had come to believe in its message its ideals, and its potential.
The last 7 years have shown me how quickly things can change.
Muslims were neer treated equally but after 2001, we have been relegated to the fringe, and fringe only.
No matter, how much I might love America, and how much I love Barack, a Christian Man, I will tell you tha the political debate, dominated by the media and the right wing , always marginalizing us good people, antagonizing us by attacking our faith, and our names.
Breaking: Barack Obama respects Somalians
Tue Feb 26, 2008 at 02:53:15 PM PDT
As most of us know by now, the picture of barack obama in somali dress has been circulated by Drudge and others , as far as is known, at the behest of Clinton staffers.
So here we are:
http://www.humanrights.state.mn.us/...
Barack OBAMA respects somalians.
Clearly, he is not fit to be the american president.
An american president wouldn't respect other cultures. He would impose his own.
He would urge people to leave their hundredds of years of culture and history and adopt a western dress.
he would insist to wear a suit and tie, and in fact insist yupon his Somali hosts to wear suits and ties.
It is unthinkable for an American president to think that any other culture deserves respect.
Unthinkable.
"we are the world. We are America."
