Congressional Polls are almost worthless- remember-2002!

Mon Jul 24, 2006 at 06:53:14 AM PDT

Remember the summer before 2002 elections.  I do.  I remember following every poll in every senate, govenor and a few congressional races.  Then the elections came and I felt that all the local polls were innacurate and next to worthless considering that it become a national election of sorts that worked slightly to the dems disfavor.

France and Muslims

Sun Nov 06, 2005 at 02:54:32 PM PDT

Intolerance of the intolerant is now badly needed in France.  Islam to me has always seemed a dangerous religion.  For all of its benefits and peaceful sides it is now greatly outweighed by violence and oppression.  Anywhere I see a majority of muslems I see its gross oppression of indiviudal rights and governmental roles.  They remind me of why democracy will never work in Saudia Arabia, Iraq or anywhere else with Muslim majorities.

Emerging democratic majority (poll)

Tue Oct 18, 2005 at 05:14:40 PM PDT

Lets stop and take a breather.  Consider the posibility that Cheney and Rove both step down from plame inditements. Iraq remains the same. Bush plummits into the 20's and republicans are at a total ethical loss, in the moderate publics view, all the way to 2008 losing the presidency and having already lost both houses.  Will this "emerging democratic majority" emerge.

Iraq after constitution vote

Wed Oct 12, 2005 at 06:34:37 PM PDT

Iraq continues to be on the side burner.  I have been wondering what will happen when the constitution narrowly passes.  Will it help Bush at all or will it me drowned out by the violence.  I know some of you will disagree but I still think this war will throw a wrench in the plans of democrats to regain the house and senate.  I see the withdrawel opinions of the public will seriously complicate the elections.

Bush approval and future

Sun Sep 04, 2005 at 08:00:26 AM PDT

Am I the only one highly curious as to how Bush's approval will play out from the hurricane and then continued high gas prices?  Something may be more important than  his current approval.  His support among black americans may be permentaly damaged.  See Below.

Universal Healthcare would be a nightmare!

Thu Aug 04, 2005 at 06:12:12 AM PDT

I love the idea of healthcare for everyone in America.  However, at this time I really don't think this country could handle it. I think it would fail politically for these reasons.
