Hillary, time's a waistin and it is time now, right now that you debate Obama in the public media. He has pulled out of his butt some of the most disgusting political weapons I have ever seen. I saw what he was up to in his interview with the Reno Gazette, putting Ronald Reagan, the Democrats and America's worst enemy on a pedestal while excluding and criticizing your husband, you and all the baby boomers. This is one sneaky, conniving and Rovian kind of politician.
However, many of us see that Obama had a deliberate plan to inject race into this campaign and charge anyone related to you with racism, including your husband. Through faxes to CNN, the New York Times, the Washington Post, et al, he has charged Bill with injecting race into the results of the South Carolina.
That so many got it wrong. Not only that, it is incredible how the press, that has nothing else to do but be the press didn't do their job once again.
I have always been troubled by the alleged comments that Bill Clinton made in South Carolina. They have been used by everyone everywhere to charge Bill and Hillary Clinton with racism or race baiting or that they would say anything so terrible to get elected. It was something so terrible that it made them despise the Clintons. When I heard the ENTIRE media parrot this, when I heard people I respect like Frank Rich, Dr. Cornell West, and legions of others use this to damn the Clintons forever, I knew something was wrong. And I knew if I was right, Barack Obama reached a low point in politics previously inhabited by Lee Atwater, Roger Ailes and Karl Rove.

I am curious, and maybe someone has already posted this, if so I apologize for repeating it, would you all vote for re-votes in Florida and Michigan if you knew that Hillary would win them by large margins derailing Obama's candidacy.
I don't see how the Democratic Party can survive with the disenfranchising two of the biggest swing states, Obama supporters delusions that it won't matter, notwithstanding. I am not sure that the DNC had the right to make such a draconian punishment to two state for moving up their primary elections. Where is the authority for the DNC to do that and I doubt it ever would have happened if Howard Dean didn't have a vendetta against the Clintons.

I haven't written many diaries here lately and not much else either. Many of my comments are hidden by assholes here who don't identify themselves and who are too stupid to debate the issues, so the eliminate the other side.
I am a lifetime member here and I don't want my comments hidden. If you look around here, there is no more debate. Anti Obama members either suppress their thoughts or the just go someplace else. Is this what Markos wants? Is this what the frontpagers want? Is this a liberal/progressive blog or is it a place where with people come to be part of something but act like a gestapo agents when they get here. FIOS subscribers on Long Island and Northern New Jersey have been closed out of any MSNBC broadcasting because the cable network entered an exclusive arrangement with Cablevision in any areas where Cablevision delivers service. I believe there are other areas in Ohio and Connecticut that are affected by this exclusive.
I just got out of an NBC town hall meeting. I was told from an authority that the MSNBC / Cablevision carriage deal has expired, but is being renegotiated. Of course, when this will be completed is anyone’s guess, but progress is being made. I just hope I get a few months of election coverage.
We all laughed at this equation or this concept months ago. Nobody wanted this pattern to continue.
Some of the components of the equation need to be extracted, not all. The Bush factors must be pulled out and never again let back in. So far, after all the shit we went through with Ronald Reagan, it is hard to believe that we allowed the same thing to happen again with someone just as evil and even dumber, if that is possible. It is time we start taking closer looks at those who we elect and when we find something that works, we need to keep it, especially when in crisis. I listened to Obama interviewed last night by Anderson Copper and Major Garrett (I think that is his name) and I kind of liked what I heard. At least I did until today.
I have said that Obama has been praying that he could catch Clinron supporters saying anything that he can twist into a racial slur, even twisting around comments from black leaders like Charlie Rangel, Andrew Young and Robert Johnson. He also criticized Bill Clinton for saying that his wife had a tough shot in So. Carolin because she's not black and Obama is getting pratically all the black vote. A purely factual statement. However, Obama has been doing his best to make the Clintons look like racists to cover up his how incredible lack of experience on the national stage.
I remember there was a time when the students of The George Washington University forced it's President Lloyd Elliot to resign his membership from Burning Tree Country Club because it was a restricted club.
Barack Obama, the liar and deceiver in chief of his own campaign whines like a baby about Bill Clinton saying that Hillary would have a tough time in South Carolina because she is not Black (which happened to be true) while at the same time this hypocrite attends a church presided over by a racist and Farrakhan supporter Reverend Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr.

I cannot believe that more people on here don't see Obama for the phony he is. I just saw a quote on TV, on the News Hour, by Obama that sent me to my computer. I think he said it after the last Democratic Debate and he might have repeated it again. You can find it here:

Needless to say, it made me furious because what he wants is for everyone to think that only he can win, which fine, but he has been lighting fires making his plan to scorched the earth so that if it is not him, it's nobody.
I am not sure if we know all the implications of this Kazakhstan uranium deal detailed by the NY Times at http://www.nytimes.com/... but just playing devil's advocate, that Uranium will be mined one way or another. Are we all not better off that it will be mined by a sensible Canadian rather than an Iranian, a Saudi or a Chinese company?
I don't know that I care about the $137 million if it goes to end world hunger. It could have gone to Hezbollah or Hamas.
I was not happy today when I saw that John Edwards is going to drop out of the race. I felt, maybe mistakenly, that if there was no majority at the convention, the entire process opens up. However, if it looks like John Edwards has a minuscule chance to get the nomination, which is almost impossible for me to believe given how flawed the other two candidates are, then maybe he's better off with his family.
So, that brings us to what's left. If I knew that Hillary was going to tell Bill to go away if she wins, I'd have no problem supporting Hillary. I think putting her on top would give her the room to rise up above politics and fight the evil Republicans. However, that's what I thought about Nancy Pelosi.
I have come to the conclusion that Crybama has gone too far in his starting little wars against Bill Clinton and the baby-boomers and then he starts pissing and moaning when people strike back at him.
He has set up a situation where many baby-boomers will not vote for him and that means they won't show up to work for him and they just won't vote. As a baby-boomer myself, I have never been more disgusted with a candidate as I am with Crybama. I think he is sneaky, delusional and his ego is used only to please him, not for the greater good.

I even made calls for John Kerry after attempting to vilify him on our site so that maybe he would have woken up and see what he was doing.
I might have been the one that started the Obama is an empty suit challenge. Part of that had to do with what I thought was recklessness of the people on this site to close their eyes to anything but what the news media gave them. You said you didn’t see the Obama supporters’ abuse people online, but I can tell you it was rampant. They hung around like packs of wolves troll rating anyone who didn’t like Obama. Yesterday morning, I posted a diary entitled "A Challenge to Obama Supporters" where I charged Obama with having no sense of history and being a snake oil salesman, convincing many that he’d do things differently and how he’d reach across the aisle to make changes when his actions and rhetoric says otherwise. I called him a charlatan I feel that to this day but I will explain that later.
Barack Obama is prtraying himself as THE agent of change because things don't work well in Washington anymore, as if they ever did. I remember how bipartisan the feeling was in 1982 when Reagan got Dick Gephardt and Bill Bradley and many Democrats to go along with Reagan's changes to the tax structure. That bi-partisan achievement has brought us a $10 trillion dollar debt and a United States that will become wholely owned subsidiaries of Saudi Arabia and China.

Republicans have a no tax oath as part of their being and even if their president was Abraham Lincoln, this batch in the GOP wouldn't ever consider increasing taxes. Our country is in jeopardy of going bankrupt and we want to know what you "reach across the aislers" will do to get real tax reform passed. The top marginal tax rate on the Super Rich used to be 91% in 1961 and now these prima donnas are paying a top bracket of 15% on Dividends, Long Term Capital Gains and Hedge Fund manager's income while many of us middle and upper middle classers are paying 35% + 7.65% for Social Security. How will you show the backbone that Democrats have failed to show thus far to try to make things fair again?
