Col. Wilkerson: Cheney = War Criminal
Tue Nov 29, 2005 at 11:14:48 AM PDT
The BBC interviewed Powell's former chief of staff, Col. Lawrence Wilkerson today. I don't think I've ever been this amazed.
Cheney accused on prisoner abuse
"Col Lawrence Wilkerson accused Mr Cheney of ignoring a decision by President Bush on the treatment of prisoners in the war on terror.
Asked by the BBC's Today if Mr Cheney could be accused of war crimes, he said: "It's an interesting question."
"Certainly it is a domestic crime to advocate terror," he added.
"And I would suspect, for whatever it's worth, it's an international crime as well."
Sounds like an open invitation to the world community to bring Cheney up on charges before a war crimes tribunal.
Covering Their Tracks - Company responsible for Hurricane relief wipes website

China Mieville, the author, apparently has a lead on
the company that FEMA outsourced their hurricane-relief planning to last year, Innovative Emergency Management.
IEM, Inc., the Baton Rouge-based emergency management and homeland security consultant, will lead the development of a catastrophic hurricane disaster plan for Southeast Louisiana and the City of New Orleans under a more than half a million dollar contract with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
IEM has now deleted all press releases refering to the original contract from their website. Check out his blog for more info and copies of the deleted documents.
