Murdoch - The FAUX NEWS EMPEROR

Thu Sep 08, 2005 at 07:41:06 PM PDT

I found this article today and it may or may not be significant.  I would like others feedback. I agree with the post below.  I think he is up to no good on the internet airwaves and this may be the beginning of something.

"The idea of Murdoch wanting to get into blogging somehow scares me! If Fox wanted to supplement their news they already have web sites that people can post to! And then he says things like "standards for accuracy and reliablility"! Yeah, think about it, Fox = standards, accuracy, reliabliltiy, sure!

For some reason I can't help thinking that this is going to bode badly for the liberal blogosphere! Maybe I'm just being a worrier in my real life grandmother mode!

The blogoshpere is really a frontier of free speech, in that this is one place we can express ourselves just about anyway we want! So when Fox says they want to get involved it bothers me! I don't trust their motives one bit!"

The Right Nuts are right on talking points as usual

They are all parroting the same response after this colossal screw up.

"Now is not the time to address what went wrong"

"If we spend time talking about that now, we will take away from the life saving recovery efforts."

"There will be a time to talk about those issues later."

When?  Once they have covered there tracks?

Just listen.  Each and every person has received the memo from Rove on how to address the media.  It seems the media isn't buying it as much any more.
