Oh you didn't know? Well neither did I, until early today when I took my sons to our local travel clinic.
I thought my lack of knowledge may have been due to being on vacation visiting my parents in Denver at the end of June. When does one really stay as attuned to all the news that affects them when they are visitng family?
So I came home from the tavel clinic today and checked on Dailykos. The result, searching with the keyword either "rabies" or "Rabies" was zero. Nothing, nada, goose egg.
So I went to google news and searched using the words "Rabies Vaccine Shortage." There are, as of this writing, 38 stories written on this subect for the past month.
It's true! It not just Barack Hussein Obama who is trying to get the votes of the Arabs in this country, the terrorists, this country's fifth column, it's McCain too! He's got bumper stickers, buttons, hats, and t-shirts for THEM.
Obama characterized "bitter" Pennsylvanians. In the most famous sound byte of that speech he said they "cling to guns or religion."
Never mind that he was spot on about those whose jobs have been shipped overseas being bitter. Or those who can't even provide health care for their families being angry maybe even bitter.
Yesterday, I began to feel that Rev. Wright's sermons ARE the basis for dialog for race in this country. Actually they already are. When you see and listen to these videos (below) in their entirety, not some sound bite, but in context, they show that Rev. Wright is not in fact a racist or anti-American, but he does reflect the community he represented as a pastor. A community that by in large, whites have ignored. (until they "act up")
Because everyone knows that angry black people, are "defiant." They should thank us whites for rescuing them from the horros of Africa and just having them work off their passage for a few years. /snark
Members have created a blog The Truth About Trinity United Church of Christ, uploading videos to youtube AND demanding that Fox News tell the truth. (well ,okay, that may never happen). But they are getting the truth out, so you and others can listen to Rev. Wright, in context.
Okay, let's stipulate that both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton's supporters are for the most part passionate. And sometimes our passion gets a head of us.
But something has happened recently that has made me question if the Republicans aren't gaming us in more than just the primaries. The rhetoric from "Supporters" has become so heated, so uncompromising, so, so, over the top that I think WE'RE BEING GAMED!
For the past week and a half I have been on bed rest as I recuperate from surgery. I have snuck down occasionally to read DailyKos and other blogs, and print out various posts to read while in bed. (Someone ought to do a study of what happens when a political junkie gets sick. It isn’t pretty.)
In the post he suggests that there is a lot of information about Hillary that the public doesn't know and that Washington has kept quiet about. As hard as that is to believe.
Now I like John, though sometimes I disagree with him. But I have to wonder what are these explosive revelations that he is sitting on. And why aren't we hearing them?
When mariachi mama posted a diary entitled I Need a Hug, where she revealed that the day before her son had committed suicide, Kossacks came out in droves to offer her suport.
Now THE 800 number many who have attempted suicide have used, or those who have been touched by a friend or loved one has committed suicide, have been promoting, is in danger of governmental take over.
Maybe even a Republican trap ot see how sensitive Democrats are. (sort of like the pleasure repubs got when Pat Schroeder held up a can opener decrying Rush Limbaugh's callousness that he would let old people eat dog food, but told his mother not to worry he'd buy her a can opener. Apparently no one was aware that he meant it as a joke. (a Rush joke) I know, I happened to be listening the day he said it. But she was eviscerated over it.
Tonight/early this morning, HuffPo has the SKFT ad about Obama up on it's feed so I thought I'd take a look.
Did Pete Stark speak for you, or was he over the top? Were his comments were totally outrageous or did you agree wit him but feel the "amused" comment took away from his very true points?
