John Edwards is a "panderer and a demagogue"

Not my words. These are the words of the ever "fair and balanced" Chris Wallace, the host of "Fox News Sunday".
Last night on "A Daily Show", Chris Wallace came on to drum up viewers for Fox's Super Tuesday coverage.
I'm not sure how that was supposed to work. Generally speaking, if you watch "The Daily Show" on a regular basis, you're probably not part of the demographic that Fox is looking for. More specifically, if you were watching TDS last night, you were choosing to not watch the Super Tuesday coverage at the eleven o'clock hour (through the judicious use of DVR technology and old fashioned channel surfing, I was able to do both). So much for Fox's progressive marketing strategy, which only got worse as the segment progressed.

Ha Ha Ha Ha! Bwa ha ha ha!
I thougt that it was a joke when I saw this. Then I realized that it was. A really sick joke on our civilization perpetrated by slimeball Mark Levin.
I guess it just goes to show that anyone can be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Breaking News!! Bush Doesn't Have A Plan!!!
Fri Oct 13, 2006 at 11:53:37 AM PDT
Overconfidence? Arrogance? Stupidity?
Who can say? However, it is clear that the Bush administration has pretty much given up on the idea of governing the country. From this weeks' US News and World Report:
"They aren't even planning for if they lose," says a GOP insider who informally counsels the West Wing. If Democrats win control of the House, as many analysts expect, Republicans predict that Bush's final two years in office will be marked by multiple congressional investigations and gridlock.

Fiasco: Bushes War in Iraq
Tue Jul 25, 2006 at 12:56:12 PM PDT
While I have not had the chance to read Thomas E. Ricks new book entitled "FIASCO: The American Military Adventure in Iraq", I did get the chance to read Michiko Kakutani's review of the book today in The New York Times.
What struck me was the following quote which sums up the entire appropriately labeled fiasco:
Apocalypse Now?

This is my first diary...
Oh, the sound of cherry popping!!
Anyway, anybody noticing that the Middle East is all of a sudden about to burst into an apocalyptic explosion of really exciting history. I say this with heavy heart. I think that the preznident has done a really great job up until now with the Middle East.
