Homeless Study - Service Learning Project

Tue Apr 18, 2006 at 02:10:26 PM PDT

Hey everyone, I thought I'd highlight this tiny Homeless Study blog by a group of Atlanta students because of the community issue they choose to focus on. I figured it would be well received and possibly draw interest by some here to help encourage them along in their efforts to blog about their activities.

excerpts from their blog:

I (Currey) am working with a group of teenage guys on studying homelessness and poverty in Atlanta, GA. We broke up into committees to take charge of different parts of the project and chose a project leader from the group.

Disclaimer: I am not Currey, nor am I affiliated with this blog/study.

Got a copy of this from a friend in my email today, and thought I'd share (I found it funny in an "I can't believe he's still in office" sorta way).

Would you hire this man?

See below the spread for George W. Bush's resume.

US military police raid Iraqi detention centre to stop abuse of prisoners

...
Nashwan Ali - who said his nickname was Big Man - said: "A US MP asked me this morning what police division I was in. I said I was in criminal intelligence.

"The American asked me why we had beaten the prisoners. I said we beat the prisoners because they are all bad people. But I told him we didn't strip them naked, photograph them or fuck them like you did."

Lookin' good post-occo
