First, I am a Christian, Liberal, Democrat. I am also a supporter of Barack Obama. I want to be a believer in Barack Obama. But if he throws the Reverend Wright under the bus, I can't be a believer.

We all understand the analogy. And the first time I heard it, about 20 years ago, I thought it was kind of apt. But hearing every Democrat, repeatedly use this line, it's starting to grate on me.  

Ok, ususally, I post at night after drinking liberally, and get no recs, and a few snide comments. (See Obama Boy) But, I'm gonna try it again, anyway.
Tonight my point is this. A lot of us on this site prefer either Edwards or Obama. I read a diary today questioning the polls showing Hillary building on her huge lead. I have got to agree. I know of very few people who are in the Clinton camp, most are trying to decide between Obama and Edwards. So here is the solution.

I just want to get this out there to be able to say, "I was first to think of this". I want to be the "Obama Boy". Michelle Obama.

Just thought I'd post this for discussion. My best friend, a conservative, maybe even centrist Republican, and I communicate about the debates, and as most of my diaries should probably be comments, this is long, soI figured, "What the hell, I'll post it as a diary". Disclaimer: I'm a Gore-nut.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself. I watched Hardball tonight to see how John Edwards responded to last night's show. He was good, very good. But, What came later was just plain crazy!

Short, I know, possibly even against the rules, but right now, go to Larry King Live, and flood the phone lines.

Really, there is hope in Oklahoma. Yeah, Yeah, we elected Inhofe and Coburn, but there are people down here who think for themselves. I saw it today on the "Letters to the Editor" page of our weekly rag. It was titled "Illegal a lot like Okie".

President Bush mentioned in his speech tonight, the "Family's quiet sacrifice" and the "Empty chair at the table." OK, you SOB, that is really a pisser, and I can't stand it anymore.  

My son has been in Iraq for about the last eleven and a half months. He's comming home in a couple of weeks.

I just watched Springsteen's version of "Bring 'em Home on Crooks and Liars, and it nudged me into my first attempt at a diary.
