scores a victory by convincing judge to force the White House to release approximately 9 weeks of the Presidential Daily Briefs (PDB). This is an attempt to shed light on how extremely busy poor Scooter was and therefore understandable it is if he somehow LIED to Patrick Fitzgerald during his grand jury testimony.
This "greymail" strategy was seen as a distinct possibility by David Corn of the Nation weeks ago when the request by the defense team was originally made.
If the White House refuses to comply with judge's order, what then? Grounds for dismissal? How convenient...
What if Cheney shot me...

Mr. Whittington has apparently taken a turn for the worse. He may be in ICU for another week or so. I sincerely hope he makes a full recovery. I am sure he is receiving the best care money can buy. Assuming, of course, he has health insurance. We all know he does, and even if he didn't he could probably pay the bill with petty cash from the cookie jar. Do you think it possible Dick Cheney would socialize with anyone not so well heeled?
Suppose for a minute he did not have health insurance and was not fortunate enough to have been shot by such a high profile government official. What then? He would have been patched up and shipped off to a lesser care facility and given whatever treatment was available. The bill would follow. Any guess how much? My guess would be $100k for 1
