CNN: Obama Most Liberal Senator
Fri Mar 28, 2008 at 12:32:15 PM PDT
CNN just ran a misleading story using the National Journal ranking of Obama as the #1 liberal senator. Of course I don’t think being liberal is a bad thing but there are many who do, especially being labeled #1, and CNN presented it in a negative way in my opinion. They also repeated the National Journal ranking of Hillary at #16. CNN needs to stop spreading the skewed National Journal ranking. I sent an email advising them their competition - MSNBC - did a much better job of journalism.
Pat Buchanan: A Brief for Whitey
Fri Mar 21, 2008 at 08:34:05 PM PDT
Pat Buchanan has got to go. Many here have commented on Buchanan’s rhetoric over the past several weeks. He seems to have appointed himself as a one-man demolition machine against Obama. His reaction to Obama’s speech has been vitriolic. As I've listened to him I've wondered where it's coming from. Then he posted this on his website - Now I think I know. If you ask me Pat Buchananan is a racist.
These cable news shows cannot continue to give this racist a platform to spread this venom.
Below are just a few excerpts. It's a much longer article. It needs to be picked up by the MSM to expose this man for what he is.
Bush Appears on American Idol

With the Cheney comment about American Idol I got to thinking about what would Bush sing and what would he say if he went on the show. I know there are 100's of serious posts and this isn't meant to take away from them. Maybe you'll get a chuckle. Just imagine this . . . .
Cheney Appears on American Idol
Sat Mar 25, 2006 at 02:33:32 PM PDT
This is how Cheney's appearance on American Idol might go:
Ryan: Ladies and gentlemen, we are truly honored tonight. Our special guest is none other than the Vice President of the United States! Please welcome Vice President Dick Cheney!!!
VP comes on stage. Audience stands, some Applause, Applause
Ryan: Thank you for this honor sir. We know you have a fondness for Fox since you require all the TV's in your hotel to be set to Fox News.
Cheney: Well I am a man of honor. Back on May 24 at an Orlando campaign stop I said if the democrats are competent to fight this war, than I ought to be singing on American Idol. So here I am.
Ryan: What are you gong to sing for us tonight sir?
Cheney: My rendition of "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf"
Ryan: Please put your hands together for Vice President Cheney.
Bush's Third Term

Don't say, "That can't happen here." Remember how many times you said that over the past five years and how many times you've been wrong.
The groundwork has already been laid. Think of the reasoning given by the administration regarding the legality of torture and domestic spying. According to this administration, the Congress empowered the president to do whatever he deemed necessary when they authorized military action in Afghanistan and Iraq. The Constitution is that quaint document that has no meaning today. The administration does not have to follow the laws Congress passes even though the president signs them so long as a signing statement is added explaining the administration's interpretation. Other administrations have done it. And then, of course, there's that concept of the unitary president.
