This is so infuriating and once again self-destructive for the Democratic public image and any hope of putting out a real message.

Here we have Bill Clinton now actually stumping for Joe Lieberman, a steadfast Neo-Con who is on the wrong side of so many issues, and also a man who saw fit to give aide & comfort to the GOP by humiliating Bill Clinton in the Senate back in 1998.

• Just why the hell is Joe Lieberman so important to Bill Clinton-?

• Just why the hell does Clinton have this goal of further screwing-up the Democratic Party's message on the Iraq War (which 65% of the Country is against)?

• Just why does Bill Clinton not see that he is only benefiting the Republican Party and it's own talking points and (dishonest) framing of the issues (and to the detriment of the Democratic Party) by supporting the Lieberman-Wing of the Democratic Party-?

I saw an alarming post on firedoglake at: http://www.firedoglake.com/....  that said the following?

"If you're an unaffiliated voter looking to switch parties in Connecticut in order to be able to vote in the primary, you have until August 7 to do it. The Secretary of State says interest in the primary is causing increased unaffiliated voter switching."

The Ned Lamont campaign is way too passive and in danger of letting their big chance slip away from them unless they get much tougher quickly!

In just the past few days, Joe Lieberman released a new Television Adverstiment that is wholly fraudulent.   Such an act -- cannot stand!

I'm sure you've all heard about it or seen it. It depicts a representation of a supposed Ned Lamont campaign bumper-sticker (complete with Ned Lamont's name and a phony Web Site address) that the Ned Lamont campaign has, in fact,  never used!  

Furthermore, the Ad then goes on to claim that this totally fraudulent, fabricated bumper-sticker,  is the only thing that candidate Ned Lamont has to say (in truth, it is the only thing Joe Lieberman has to say).

Well, first of all I went to the Hardball web site and voted for Ned Lamont as "the winner".

But, while I thought Ned Lamont did well in certain spots .. overall .. Joe Lieberman just lied & lied & lied -- and also interrupted frequently and appointed himself 30 seconds of extra time (2nd and 3rd rebuttals) -- throughout the debate and I was disappointed that Ned Lamont did not slap down Lieberman harder or better for all of these numerous false charges & lies.

Just a brief notice to inform people that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will appear tonight (July 5, 2006) on "The Charlie Rose Show" (PBS) as the middle guest for the program.

I imagine that he will be discussing the systematic Republican/White-House Election Fraud that took place in 2004 throughout several States - but especially Ohio (which was pivotal in the final outcome).

"Even should he lose in August -- and the most recent public poll shows him leading Lamont by 15 percentage points among likely primary voters -- Lieberman would retain his status as a registered Democrat."

I cannot believe this, but according to the Boston Globe the AFSCME and other Labor Unions are overwhelmingly endorsing and backing Joe Lieberman -- despite disagreeing with him on nearly all their key & important issues: [ Iraq, Bankruptcy bill, Bush Tax cuts, Trade policy, outsourcing, etc.].

Why?

Don't they realize that they have a real choice and a real progressive advocate on their behalf in this year's U.S. Senate Election with Ned Lamont-?


I found this article very worriesome and possibly fatal to Ned Lamont's chances.
How can Lamont turn this around-?

The weekly Democratic Party Radio Address (following Bush's weekly address) was given this week by DNC Chairman Howard Dean.  

For the first time, a weekly Democratic Radio Address focused exclusively on Iraq and tried to frame the "consensus position" in the Democratic Party on Iraq going forward into the 2006 Elections.

If the entire Democratic Party can now get behind this speech and echo and underscore it's fundamental points from now on until the 2006 Elections - the Democratic Party just might, dare I say, be seen as finally taking a position of leadership on the subject.

Dean's address should & will resonate with the majority of people in the Country from States both red & blue.

Of course, Joe Lieberman will find Bush's weekly address much more to his liking (we got to get rid of that jackass - vote/support:  Ned Lamont!!).

It appears that the Patrick Fitzgerald investigation has been shut down from any further significant development and it has effectively ended.

I Lewis Libby, of course, will be given a trial - but even this has been conveniently postponed a whole year & a half so as to minimize any political fallout to the White House and the GOP.  The majority of the American Idol watching population don't even a clue who Lewis Libby is anyway.
